Morning all I just found this app called slimit where you can add you syn details in whilst your on the go . I'm loving it.
Apparently you can add all your food

I've downloaded it, but I have no idea about syns apart from gin.... someone taught me very well!

I need to formulate an idiots guide!

    Food today

    Breakfast - ham, apple
Lunch, cucumber, raw carrot, banana, beans
    snack apple
Tea, sw cottage pie (free) and every veg possible
pudding - apple, banana, FF yog.

I am getting used to this type of food, and i am rather okay with it... I would not go as far as to say I am enjoying it... but it is okay.

I have not wore my suit for 3 weeks, today it was huge and I mean huge on me. :j:j:j ... I looked like a bag of rags. I need to have a think about clothes as I don't want to buy anything for a whilst as I am totally skint as we are funding DS2 2nd attempt at uni!

    Evening all
Well my planned lazy day didn’t happen! I went to the GP this morning but she asked me to go to the hospital for an X-Ray. So I went home and had a few hours sleep, lunch then I went to the hospital. All went well and as I was coming out I had an email from the Creative Writing Society at uni with news of a workshop at 5.30 so I went home, quick shower and change and headed to uni. Came home afterwards, cooked tea, watched a bit of TV and had to sort my bag for tomorrow. Have vowed Thursday I’m definitely not going to do anything!
WI tomorrow- dreading it. Have done an SP day today- hope that will help!

B: Missed it- slept too late :D
L: Speedy soup, HEXB roll and light sunflower spread (2.5 syns) Decaf coffee (1.5 syns for milk)
Late afternoon: Turkey and ham Subway salad (no Olives or sweet corn) 1.5 syns for sauce, pear, peach, HEXB 2 x HiFi bars, water
T: Salt and chilli Quorn made with cauliflower rice and extra veg, Fab lolly (4 syns) Alpro choc soya drink (HEXA + 1.5 syns) water
    Syns: 11
    Night all xx

    Anyone help with syns please?
Sainsbury’s own authentic Korma paste - 200g jar ( thought it was paste you added couple of spoons to make curry but it’s the whole jar :() 100g is 107cals
    TIA :A

It's coming out at 22 syns for the jar or 5.5 per portion tie. That's with no free food as the main things seem to be creamed coconut and sugar with ginger and tomato well down the list.

Hi ladies. I went shopping last night and am better prepared today. So I have planned :-

BF : overnight oats : 40g Porridge (HE b) Mullerlight Vanilla yogurt & banana

Snack : bought some little grab bags of fruit

Lunch : because it was late when we went shopping I couldn't be bothered prepping lunch as well as breakfast so am going to have Subway salad with no cheese or dressing

Dinner : need something quick as have hairdresser coming and MRM is working away. Will be making Tortilla pizza with Wholemeal tortilla (8.5 Syns), tinned tomatoes, ham, olives (3 Syns), 30g cheddar(HE a) and a salad.

If hungry later will have hi Fi bar.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Okay, 3 days till I go on holiday. Determined not to go in to holiday mode till Friday dinner time at the soonest.

    Today's plan:
    Breakfast - porridge
    Lunch - pasta salad
    Dinner - Stir fry
Snacks - fruit and ginger sweets

    HA - milk and cheese
    HB - oats
Syns - honey (1), salad dressing (1), ginger sweets and drugs
    Zebras rock
  • Well done Kathryn, that's not bad at all!

I use cornflour to thicken sauces if needed - for four portions it works out at 1 syn per portion.

One alteration to yesterday's menu: I added a bit of brown rice to my tea as I was starving!

    Today:
    B - Weetabix, apple
D - Jacket spud with speedy quorn chilli, pickles on the side
T - Going to use up my SW chicken korma meal as it's taking up way too much room in the freezer, with some frozen mixed veg.
    HEA - Milk
    HEB - Weetabix
Syns - Sugar on weetabix (1) and in coffee (3)...

Might have to add extra syns for extra milk in coffees. I can normally get 5 cups of tea/coffee from my milk allowance so don't normally measure it as I normally only have 3 a day. Measured it out today though as I have no idea how much I need for my weetabix. Feeling:A

    Afternoon everyone.

Thanks for the chart Kathryn - sorry I can't help with the spreadsheet as my self taught IT skills don't extend that far - I hope you enjoy your holiday and that the new drug regime helps you make the most of your time away. Congrats to Moneysaverme for SOTW.

Little NSV today - I needed to wear smart black trousers this morning, something I haven't really worn since finishing work 18 months ago - I have 5 pairs (why???) and only one fits, the others now way too big so will go in the charity bag. Sunshinemummy , good NSV for you too re your suit. I loved my suit I wore for work and have kept it 'just in case' but I suspect it will also be big. Charity shops are good for basics as you lose weight and worth a look for smart workwear.

Welcome to the newbies to this brilliant thread!
