When is student maintenance loan paid

My daughter starts college in September.
Her Student loan and maintenance loan are set up and she will be receiving about £7,000
I believe this is paid in 3 installments with 1st one in September.
Does anyone know when in September she gets this tough and is it just paid direct in to her bank account?
She has to pay for her bus pass in next couple of weeks which is £765 and wanted to use her maintenance loan for this.

I'm not sure if they pay out at different dates but my DS had his around the 3rd week of September when he was in Uni - this was from SFW.
This would mean approx w/c 25th.
Is she not able to log into her account and see if they have a date scheduled?
