    hi bartgirl,

really glad you've almost finished that darn cc!! that's no mean feat when you're on a limited income with little ones.

as for oh and his shenanigans - don't be fooled - you're feeling guilty because you're planning your escape route. have you told him you'd like 10 days away to sort your head out??? no, because he'd probably go mad.

this relationship sounds onesided. you've tried to make it work but have no emotional energy left to fight it. at least now you have a window of opportunity to do your moonlight flit.....10 days in July:j

plenty of time between now and then to sort yourself out ie, where you'll move to etc. Don't lose the momentum - you're bound to doubt yourself - no-one wants to split up esp when children re involved. Don't do this on your own tho - speak to a friend or relative as you need emotional support.

if you have any suspicions that he may come on the bounce and be violent to you please contact the local police and just advise them of your concerns and then if you ever should need to phone them they will have some background history. No-one should stay in a partnership because they are frightened of being hurt if they leave. good luck

Hi Bartgirl, good to have you back. I'd be a bit concerned with who he's going away with! do you know where he's going and who with? The attention could be because he feels guilty about going away and is trying to make it look like he's doing the right thing when infact he's not.My ex used to spend time with us when he was building up to saying something he didn't want to blurt out.

Yes I do know who he'll be with - its a local Youth Group that he's involved with and he gets to join 'the youth' for free - so nothing suspicious on that part..

Went to market and spent £4 on veg: aubergine, potatoes, lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions. Also need a replacement mobile phone. My budget was a tenner-ish but the cheapest I could find was £25!! So i've come home and found a few on ebay for under a tenner incl postage so i'm over the moon!!

Have also listed 10 items on ebay now.

My item of furniture went for less than a tenner  but its still a tenner more than i would have had otherwise!! every little counts they say...;)

DSs dad just reminded me we're on our way out for the rest of the day..this is just too weird..i'm just getting on with Ebaying etc..plus i am working tomorrow..he aint..i'm totally clueless as to what his psyche is at the moment. My feeling is that since he's been paid he's happy to be The Nice Guy but i know that wont last..

    Hi Bartgirl,

Good to hear you're doing ok! Hope the rest of your Ebay sales go well.

I went shopping for my DS shoes today. I popped into Mothercare and they have quite a few items at 50% off inc. shoes/trainers. I got DS a pair of trainers (and shoes for school to put away later) for a total of £8.25.

I was originally just buying him trainers at £4.50 (reduced from £9) but cashier told me shoes were buy one get one half price so I picked up a pair of shoes at £6 (Marked down from £12 but I think they were originally £13 but stickered wrong). Worth a look if your DS needs shoes.

    Take care.

Hiya Bart Girl, glad to see you're doing ok - well done with the ebaying, I will have to steal some of your motivation!

Re DSs Dad, whatever comes out of him being away for a while, I think you know now in yourself that you are strong enough to make the right decision, whatever you decide to do. As you have said, you can't just basde it on what happens, there is all that history to consider too
