BartGirl don't know what made me open the 1st page of your diary but that's what I did a couple of hours ago and my bum's numb from sitting here reading every post :o

OMG you have done so well on the debt front and I wish you all the luck in the world in getting away from your OH as soon as you can....you deserve lots of happiness.

I don't have any words of wisdom - you have built up a lovely group of friends here who are wonderful support for you.

Your post from yesterday has just made me cry. Hope you are feeling ok today. You are great - your OH gives you sh*t and you bounce back and 'sound' cheerful by the end of your post.

You're a great mum to your little DS :)

Thanks everyone for your support and kind words

Have taken day Off so that car can be fixed. I'll be so penniless after this repair..its setting me back £310  which is coming straight out of my savings. Then the £175 council tax for april that i'm yet to pay..

This combined with the whole weekend's affairs is leaving me feeling on abit of a downer.

Have to look on the + side though, and realise that its such a relief that i have the funds available for the first time ever..;)

Still feel drained and exhausted - figured out my new SOA/debt thingy..shall post here later...

  • Hey Bartgirl

I, like Nala, opened up your diary and have been glued for the past hour and a half.

I think the bit that got me was how similar a situation I am in.

You refer to your husband as 'DS dad'. I refuse to refer to my husband as DH cos he isn't my 'Darling Husband/dear Husband. I refer to his as OH - Other half of the household.

I have to admit though that my situation is nowhere near as bad as yours and where you are setting up your 'leave him' account I am trying to clear the debt before tackling that one :D .

We did split up last year and I fealt great but he is back and we are getting on with it.

Your diary is a real insparation to others in the same situation - I hope you keep us all posted...i'm intregued to know what your plan is that you have hatched with your sister...

Really feel for you. Your OH must be very difficult to deal with. I hope you can sort something out for you and your DS soon

    Absolutely gutted.

£20 left in my savings. Car mended. Council Tax installment paid (incl arrears). Very very little left in my current account..also spent £2.80 today on a sarnie and choccie bar at work.

I feel awful - plus i sold diddly squat on Ebay over the weekend.

BUT!! The MSE'ing must go on..:T
..shall carry food in to work tomorrow..shall put stuff on Ebay hopefully tomorrow as well..and hopefully Quidco'll track soon cos i'm anxious to get my savings back up to where they were before..

Thanks everyone for all your kind words..I'm hanging in there..BartG
