Good luck vintage brighton - hope you bounce back quickly.
Apologies Thrifty. Non needed.
Not sure what is up with me this month, extremely down in dumps when I go quiet and then don't post.
Spent a fair bit last few days as well.
Saturday - DD bankcard wouldn't work so I funded lunch £20 eek. Her turn next time. unplanned but will be returned
Sunday - spent money on my house, new lamp, twig lights and some photo frames - realise got none of new gd on show (worthy spend then). £30 plus tescos food shop £15.
Monday - I had a day off work, plan to go walking but first thing pea souper. Took 2 pairs of trousers back to Sainsbobs I would never wear them Good and bought a winter jacket - bright red and a jumper Good if needed as it will get cold soon.£15 after refund and then hit Matalan new bath mat, towel and throw for living room £30.
Yesterday afternoon, touched up paintwork kitchen found right color in my garage, cleaned gutters out and made my lounge so cosy love it Good for mental well being. Decided it makes me happier and now ready to tackle October with minimum spending. Yay, that's the spirit
Today SFD
Grateful for
Chased Quidco so should get £19 in bank next few days.
Lovely walk lunchtime along beach.
Reading lovely book - A boy made of blocks
Sunny and warm here so will cut grass hopefully after work before great rain thats forecast.
Calling down't be so hard on yourself. Yes, they were unplanned un-budgeted naughty spends but most served a cause in the end. I'm not condoning spending to aid mental wellbeing or happiness as it usually doesn't work, but the items will make you house more cosy and comfortable which in turn will make you feel the same. And as you said your'e aware of the situations and will hopefully make up for it next month. Plus you're still here and didn't stick you head in the sand yet thinking S*d it.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

erm... on Sunday at death's door I headed to the local coop to get milk - madam drinks it by the gallon! - got a load of ys items but as I was poorly with a sore throat I also got some ice cream - it was half price. So... technically under the rules above it was a SFD???? :rotfl:
check in 26/30 SFD today (and yesterday) no exercise as still recovering.
Won't need anything else so will tot up my spends and report backDF as at 30/12/16

I didn't actually change or bend the rules. I just tried to cheer Calling up. They were still unplanned un-budgeted spends and she got away lightly, agree.
And btw, yes, ok, ice cream is medicine but no way does the milk count

I'm such a conformist the idea of bending the rules is making my heart flutter!:rotfl: but I did exclude milk from my rules as otherwise I'd never get a SFD
anyway just jossing as mentioned earlier a deep conformist and a rule is a rule is a rule!DF as at 30/12/16

Of course, only joking too.
Well, seriously now. Yes, they are "rules" but they are not enforced by militant strictness as we all know. More important is that everybody tries to stick to them as much as possible while being allowed to adapt them slightly to match their lifestyle and we support each other.
The main aim is that people are just more conscious about monetary decisions which I think we achieve here.
P.S. do you have a garden, could you get a cow, second hand if possible?DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -

I do have a garden, but I also have a Brazilian partner so it'd probably be eaten the moment my back was turned :rotfl:DF as at 30/12/16

Hello, sorry I've been quiet the past two days. They have most certainly not been spend free days though, yesterday went shopping with my mum to help her find an outfit for the wedding. All sorted now but I also found a dress for my hen do so spends made there. Also had a takeaway coffee so spends there also.
Today has been very spendy. Registrar all paid for - that was £449.went to see wedding organiser at the venue to go over some details. Had a coke whilst I was at it. Tom also decided we couldn't wait out until Friday to get some food in so we ended up having a small shop. I've also ordered some confetti and bits for the wedding.
Tomorrow we see the photographer, I will pay up the final balance then to get it over and done with! I will also forward the rest of the money to the cake lady tomorrow do that is all paid for. Also need to get candles for the venue from ikea.
Thursday - we're going out to our friends leaving do at work. She's not really leaving - but is going on maternity leave for a year so we're calling it a leaving do! Will also get wedding 'gifts' for ushers etc.
Friday - we will need to go on proper shop as that will be pay day. Not one single spend free day this week. Saturday might be one, so most I can manage will be 14.
It's going to be a very expensive week.February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
