Day 21
Managed another SFD - 13/18
Brought lunch into work.
Walked 20 minutes.
Read my book and had some quiet time before work. Very busy day in work, but the time went by so quickly.
Grateful for:
Journey home was better - less time compared to earlier this week.

Check in 21/30 and what a beautiful sunny day it's been
Not a NSD as planned. My appointment took soooo long. I left the house at 10.30 and didn't get back till 6. I succumbed to a coffee for £2 and a bottle of water for £1. Not too bad given the circumstances.
I'm now all set for 3 ops in a row. Not that I'm glad about it, I'll be glad to get them over with!
Anyway, tomorrow should be a NSD as we won't do the shopping now till Saturday - we don't need anything.
Still at 11 NSD
Beauty spends - budget busted 40/10
Exercise - miles of walking
Me time - train journeys, lovely scenery
Heating - still off for at least another 7 days
On target with shopping money :T
Have a lovely evening scrimpers

Eating up/ using up stuff - Made fridge cake (again) to use up some more of the Kr@ve cereal brought back from DD's flat (2 more batches should see it gone!) Also used up the remains of 2 bottles of choc sauce/ syrup in at as I have decided ice cream is off the house-menu until Xmas!
Lunches taken - 3 packed lunches for boys today. DD and I had soup & rolls at home

Quick check in. Yesterday was a spendy day but only on a beauty treatment essential as I'm going swimming tomorrow. I'm off tonight to centre parcs for the weekend for my sister's birthday and I can't wait. Apart from two 1 night stays with friends, I haven't been away since Easter and that was with the family, so it'll be nice to get away with my sisters and a load of the birthday girls friends. Mostly paid for, except a meal out on Saturday and I'm guessing lunches on Saturday and Sunday. I'm taking breakfast and alcohol from home.
The plumber didn't turn up yesterdaybut the builder is returning from zante!!!! So maybe today there will be some progress on the bathroom!

Good morning, yesterday was definitely a spend day. Ordered some books for the kids we give to at Christmas from Amazon (got 3 Dahl & Seuss for 10 and ordered two lots saving £15). Also ordered some craft stuff for me (a cutting matt, craft knives and a metal ruler) and a built your own clock for DS. That's some Christmas stuff sorted.
Not sure if I'll do the big shop tonight or first thing tomorrow (will need butter for breakfast etc) but will definitely go to LIDL or Aldi. Rather do it on Sat which is a spend day anyway as I take the family out for our anniversary dinner.

Hi September Scrimpers,
Check-in 22/30
SFD = 8/18 (or is it 7? I can't remember, as have abandoned writing everything down in my note book & concentrating instead on just tracking any little spends which are non-authorised...i.e not budgeted for.
Beauty spends - still £6.50/£10. I was helped a little here in that a friend gave me a hair colour she decided she didn't like (she knew it was my colour so gifted it to me). I've only bought a foundation & that was only because it was half price so I didn't want to miss the offer. Low on lippy but will be fine till end of the month & have eeked out by using an old colour I don't really much like but it's ok if I do my eyes quite black to balance it out iyswim!
Exercise goal - Yes, will defo hit my 7000 steps target today as after hugely active session clearing front garden today, I'm already well over 6000.
Me time - no, not yet, but will make sure I get some later.
Pretty good frugal behaviour today. Have made bread rolls, replanted several self-seeded plants for free ones next year, revisted shopping list to tweak a few things off & a couple of different ones on, picked home grown salad & done quite a few surveys. Got some budget updates to do this afternoon so that will be another thing to keep us on the straight & narrow.
