Today I am grateful for even more rasps from the canes, for a decent visit with dd to the paediatric dietitian, for getting some crafting done, for chats with friends, for frozen veg, for dd's friend calling round to play out, for a good book, for making a decision about travelling on fri/sat.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0

Must get to do the banking tonight and YNAB update - not much has gone out of the bank but I don't like it to be behind.
Need to get my behind into gear and start thinking about Christmas lol!0 -
Hello
Sorry I've been AWOL. I did try to check in yesterday on my phone then lost the post. So, only at check in 16/30, will try to check in tonight to make 17.
Only got one more SFD since Friday - the weekend was a bit spendy due to some unbudgeted diy items - not a lot, about £25 but still a spend. Then on Sunday a personal spend of £12. Monday was SFD but yesterday wasn't so I'm only at 8/18. I really thought I would be able to reach the 18 but unless every remaining day is spend free then I won't reach target. I'll try for as many as possible.
Lunch to work 12/21 and 1/21 lunch provided by work so still no lunches bought.
Not been very good with me time or exercise. Some social time on Saturday, unbudgeted but it was to contribute to a good cause so not too worried about that.
I hope everyone is doing ok, will try to catch up before tonight's check in. Can't believe we're on 20th already. I see MSE has their C*******s countdown on the side there. At least that's one thing I've kept up the savings for.MFIT -T5 #420 -
Just had a check and haven't posted since the 14th
I have been recording all my spends in my notebook though.
Friday
A spend day - got some snacks for going away, a birthday card for my friends wee boy and some toiletries - toothpaste and deodorant.
Saturday and Sunday
I was away for my friends hen weekend so another 2 spend days.
Monday
Yet another spend day - I met my gran for coffee, bought a few items from charity shops and bought a suitcase.
Yesterday
A NSD :j taking me to 7 for the month, definitely won't meet the target.
I'm away again today around lunchtime and come back Monday afternoon. Going to spend some time with family before my friends wedding, OH will come down on Friday. I'll try for some NSDs while I'm away but think it will be difficult.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Hello,
third wedding anniversary today but nothing special planned. Got a lovely bunch of flowers from DH and a leather necklace with a compass pendant (Card said, so I always find my way home. Is he afraid I'm gonna run off). I had made him two lilies out of leather (was meant to be three but the leather scraps were to small
). Will take the family out for dinner on Sat to the hotel we got married in.
SFD today I hope as yesterday wasn't. Had to nip to shops while DS was at chess.
Dull and rainy here, perfect running weather.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Happy anniversary Thrifty
Not going to be a NSD here today - the light has come on in the car so need to get some petrol. Otherwise don't see myself spending much though may be asked for annual membership at my teams training tonight. Have it in cash in the wallet but depends on who is taking the session if they will collect the money or not. Still would be good not to break a NSD later in the week if I don't pay up tonight.
Not much else moneysaving happening - my bank cards expire at the end of next month. Does anyone know how soon before they expire are the new ones sent out? Getting worried that they will arrive to my current place after I move out. Not a big issue as can just call back and check with the person moving in but still a bit of a nuisance.0 -
Happy anniversary Thifty - hope you have a lovely day.
Well yesterday spent again - next month going back to online food shopping I don't spend as much. Saying that my food cupboards were bare the start of this month and needed building up on staple food.
Food over budget 115/100
SFD - hangs head in shame and runs off - just say I failed.
Happy to have had payment from ugov today so will replace my EF which I used for my car insurance, Need to chase Quidco as they seem very slow lately and should get £50 at very least back there. Claimed another £8 in surveys so will throw that at debts
Lovely and warm here today, went for a seaside walk at lunchtime.
No heating today, sneaked it on 5-10 mins last night so I could have a bath and jump out to lovely warm dry towels for a change.
Grateful for
Feeling more relaxed than last few days just been on edge
