Morning all
Bagged a couple of nsd's towards the end of the week just by being too tired to do anything at all. Survived the first week back in my new role and my new classroom.
Not much to report as I've been busy with work. I've meal planned for next week to try and get a head start.
I was hoping for a bit of a lie in today but didn't sleep well at all. Now hoping for lots of relaxation across the rest of the day. It won't be a nsd as my online order from Mr T is due - should be most of the budget for the rest of the month grocery wise. Not giving up

Need to total up spends, but I lost my NSD today as I was so exhausted after 3 hours of clothes shopping yesterday that I gave up when Asda didn't have my protein shakes. (they are on offer so I'd planned my entire weekly shop around them as I don't normally shop there.)
Anyway, back this morning. Still none. But I really had to shop today as we are away tomorrow, so I might just miss out on offer. Great YS haul though:D
Tonight I must try on everything I bought yesterday and decide what to take back. I only bought 1 item not on the list, but a couple of very similar items that I wanted to see on with some of the stuff I have already. I will feel very sorry for the sales staff who work on commission if they lose it when I return so much:(
But first. Gym. I'll have to see what I can manage as my arms are still aching from my first climbing session on Thursday.Goals - Weight loss 6/26lb at 22nd Jan 18Mmmm. 26lb at 1/7/18. Oops:o0 -
Shamefully sneaking back in to say yesterday ended up being a complete mess to my budget. Went for drinks after work and spent way more than planned on both alcohol and food. Paying for it today and ended up buying loads of snack food to make myself feel better.
Money spent now, going to write it off and shuffle money around to cover it. Need to be more conscious of what I am spending as have got plans for every weekend this month and can't afford to completely destroy my budget on socialising.0 -
9/30
Today has been spendyas we be been food shopping. Managed to avoid the butchers all week but had to go today to get done meat in as we didn't have any. Spent £30 on 20 chicken breasts and x2 corn fed chickens to roast. I should have enough chicken to last a while now!
We popped into Morrisons on the way back instead of going to Aldi as it was on the way (Aldi wasn't). Spent £36.20 on not a lot which is irritating- some fruit, sandwich stuff, some squid, pork, dried mushrooms and rice. My plan is avoid the shops next week full stop - tomorrow as well. I will use what we have in the house and if lunch stuff runs out so be it - absolutely no eating out for the rest of the month. Money diet will have to start full swing! My passport money came out of my account today too, I have less than I usually do at this point in the month. I think I may have been over optimistic about the £100 credit card overpayment but that's been paid for now. I don't think I'll manage an overpayment next month though as it's my Hen Do.February Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00

Today was a spend day as went to do the usual weekly food shop. Was £25.97. Total food spend for month now stands at £53/£150. Went to M&S today as had to get some clothing items for my Mum and brought sandwiches for tomorrow as I am going out and my Mum asked for them. Still within the food spend budget for the week. Spends all recorded in my notebook.
No exercise today as doing a charity walk tomorrow.
Made a fruit cake which is currently in the oven.

Day 9 check in.
More grocery spending today in Aldi so have now spent just over half my grocery budget for the month, will have to rein it in for the rest of the month.
Exercise has been walking just short of 13k steps and stripping the bedroom wallpaper off. Will be some house spends this month but have a pot of money saved for that, so all planned spending.
Still no heating on or coffee shops/cafes/pubs. Me time will be a long soak in the bath with a glass of wine and my book in a few minutes.
Looking forward to Strictly and X Factor tonightI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
