Just checking in - 7/30
Still no SFDs & I'm frankly not bothered as all budgets are being stuck to very well so far this month. Just back from camping trip tonight & amazingly have £1.41 of our camping food cashbag left!
We have talked about plans for cracking down on our autumn finances while we've been away & we are both really up for it. Have already decided that we will do our meal planning over breakfast tomorrow then mr f will go off to get the shopping while I get busy organising food stores in the kitchen......esp all tge fresh stuff we're still harvesting from our garden. Feeling motivated.
Exercise goal - 12,255 / 7000 steps today.
Time for me - beachcombing & watching the wildlife. Lovely.
Back home now. Looking forward to being proper scrimpy & catching up on reading how everyone's been doing.

A SFD as the funeral was at 9.30am and we went directly from there to mum's (she had been hoping to go and look at sandals but was too tired and just wanted to go home), stopped at my house to pick up the shopping which I had left by the door (with all the fridge things in a bag in the fridge).
Mum liked my new navy top and black skirt and said she would pay for them. She gave me £50 when we were settled down and then when I divided the food bill up and gave her what I owed her, she gave me that back as well, so yesterday's clothes shop is now more modest.
Today I am grateful for food from the mystery drawer in mum's freezer (the sweet potato mash was actually chicken casserole), for new knickers (comfortable and secure) and for still having some energy left.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Check in 7/30.
Spend day today - needed to do a shop. Spent £38, but this included stuff that I don't have to buy very often, such as dishwasher tablets and fabric conditioner. Hope not to have to go again for a while!
Also bought myself a top in a charity shop - £4.25. Hope it is suitable / fits. I find tops that I like really hard to find! I have put on weight, so that doesn't help
Went to look round a local town with OH. We took our own picnic lunch to eat on the way back, and made our own coffee:). Only spends were the above mentioned top and £1.50 for parking.
Not much exercise, just walking with the dog, who is very slow and has to sniff everything at great length. Annoying, as he is only young, and can run very fast indeed when I let him off his lead!
Must try to get out for a decent walk tomorrow!
Jacket potatoes for dinner with tuna mayo made from storecupboard stuff, and salad, mostly home grown

Check in today. Think I missed checking in yesterday. Yesterday was a nsd so up to 3/18 now. Today I had to pick up some more food shopping bits so now my food budget is 271/300 but I made some soup n stuff today for easy lunches/dinners. Fit a short run in too.Mortgage free wannabee 2022 #820

Check in 7/30; LTW 5/21. No NSD today so still on 5/18. Unfortunately tomorrow won't be either as today's coffee spend has been delayed till tomorrow.
Spent today £25 on joining a class and getting some kit. Will cost me £60 next week which will cover for next 6 weeks, yoga class so hopefully that will count as exercise and me time, albeit spendy.
Haven't managed to catch up with everyone. Hope all are well. XMFIT -T5 #420 -

Last quick check in. Picked up my Asda order which was £72 but included loads if meat, frozen veg to last longer and make soup, and washing detergent and other household items. Will update my spreadsheets tomorrow. Found a bag of ys potatoes under a dish towel in the veg cupboard (no idea how old but looked fine, never happened before). Had the with ys porkchops from the freezer for tea.
Got a letter from DDs nursery saying that they do the football coaching again. An unexpected £30 needed soon. Son wanted to try footie again but got cold feet again once changed. Oh well, not doing that again soon. Tried so many times now. Hopefully I can get him to go back to chess as he liked that and went before the summer break (plus it's cheap).
Finished a book and started a new one
