I think the number of times Nicki has stressed this is NOT A DATE hint quite heavily that it IS lol..
Actually, now it's been confirmed where we're meeting and what we're doing (well we're starting off with a stroll and seeing where we end up) I'll tell you now that I'm meeting up with a very old friend who I haven't seen properly for a long time to have lunch - and its NOT A DATE as he has a girlfriendTrust me, if it was a date, it wouldn't be happening tomorrow lunch time :rotfl::rotfl: BUT thats not going to stop me going upstairs tonight and having a long hot soak, defuzz etc etc
If I was brave enough I would have coloured my hair again as well....we'll have to see
I must ask OH to do the ironing tonight, my nice jeans are in there and the ones I'm currently wearing have got chocolate cake on them
Need to go and sort out the kitchen and I guess I should think about something for tea...might just make omlettesWill check in again later

I have done nothing!
Went to see a very nice man about my shoulder this morning who gave me the giggles when he was manipulating my spine. :rotfl:
Then I met up with a friend I'd not seen since July, went into town to change DS's Hallowe'en costume for the next size up, bought a couple of pressies, collected DS from school, came home and sat on my backside.
Tea is mash, fish fingers and beans as I'm in a lazy mood.
Must try harder.
Michelle- pleased all went ok for you this morning.
lil_me- can't really add any more to what has been said, but I do hope everyone's ok
I can hear the Pringles shouting to be let out of their tub! :j...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Hi All
DD off school again so not a lot done. Did a job application this morning and dropped it off as the closing date was today. DH on a night out tonight so will try to do some bits after the kids have gone to bed. Will probably aim to just do level 1 in the bathroom later. However, the downstairs is looking fairly tidy - the sides in the kitchen are still fairly cluttered but I'll do them when they come round next week unless I di them over the weekend.
Michelle - Pleased to hear your scan went okay.
lil-me - hugs to you and your friend's family - thinking of you all.
Hugs to everyone else - I've lost track of what I'm saying!

Hi All.....
THE WEEKEND STARTS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm so glad the week is over, though I still have to ferry children to and from youth group, so I don't get to start drinking till about 9:30...but still.
I don't think I'm going to do anything this weekend, just dailies.
I think we are seeing some friends tomorrow and we've got people for lunch on Sunday...hey isn't it the rugby tomorrow??
I've been posting ebay parcels, I need to get the stuff that hasn't sold into the loft, in a box...I can't face it....I'll see how I feel in a bit....
DS back, looking tired. I also need to make a start on his washing..
You know everytime I come on here, thinking I've done everything and something about this place makes me think of more stuff ( that sucks!!)
Will be back again, no doubt, but for anyone I don't see, have a fabby weekend!!0 -
Evening all just popped into to see if there was any news on baby Matthew.
Tea done - only beans on toast - did not feel like cooking.
Frankie I'm only doing the taking to youth club so will be back home be 6:45. Don't often drink now days but do fancy a glass tonight.
Not flown since Tuesday but house not too bad. Going to do a quick 30 minutes in DS3 room - bed already stripped and hoove upstairs.
Weekend is full of kids footie and friends for dinner so apart from a quick tidy and hoover downstairs not aiming high.
Hope to fly a bit more next weekThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
OH has come in from work looking awful - they're main computer with all the teaching resources and email etc has died and they need to start all over again  It took them a full week to just install the email system so it looks like its going to be a very bad week here
He's now in the bath trying to de-stress and i've just been to the Co-op and bought 2 bottles of cola and a big bar of Galaxy for him
Tea is now going to be sausage sandwiches - and I'm about to go and put it on in George. :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
