Looks like my roofers have finally arrived, only 1 hr and 45 mins late.

Just hoovered and washed floors. I think I'm going to do some ebay listing while the floors dry.

Michelle, glad everything is ok, I love that first scan....

choc log for me please, and another cuppa. just finished one!

finally got my app done, friend faxed it for me, got home after facial to find i could've emailed it. would've been helpful had they said that originally. but hey, as tracy says little matthew puts all my woes into perspective.

had a facial and eyelash tint this morning. :) massage with facial was divine! i'm gonna be skint but anything that helps keep the stress at bay has to be a good thing! never had my eyelashes done, they look cool as they are very long anyway and i never bother with make up.

best mate is coming to stay tonight, really looking forward to it. need to fly and do the writing before then. perhaps i'll fly first then have lunch, then do some writing.

  • Afternoon,
Michelle glad your scan went well! Well done on the ME time Rach. Sexymouse, how's that enormous list going? embb, that's a load of crossing out there- woo hoo!
I thought that was a really sweet thing for gunsandbanjos to post even though they just lurk here. The kind of people this forum attracts are really lovely ones I'm finding. Glad to be part of it :T

Lunch is over - a rather waffy ploughmans thing for a ploughman that isn't going to need much energy for the rest of the day - and I need to go up the high street now. It's only my need for cigarette papers that's finally driving me out of my hole. That's awful isn't it..

OK, got Pink blazing, DS2 unceremoniously dumped in bed for a nap, and an hour and a half for some serious cleaning.
  • i am seriously overloaded on carbs now but the chips at the pub were fab. Now i could sleep for the afternoon, but i could drag my backside and the hoover upstairs and then change the beds.

DH has brought the bin back in for me, and put the compost in the bin outside and fed the cats, so i suppose it will have to be the beds option, as i haven't hoovered upstairs in about a month as i have been so busy and poo-ey feeling. So, that is my plan for the next hour at least.

    1) [STRIKE]strip our bed[/STRIKE] and[strike] charlie's cot[/strike]
    2) [STRIKE]hoover mattresses on both [/STRIKE]
    3) [strike]remake charlie's cot[/strike] bedding in washing now, along with his bedpal - humphrey the elephant
    4) [STRIKE]hoover under our bed and put the boxes of toiletries from yesterday under there[/STRIKE], [strike]hoover charlie's room[/strike]
    5) [STRIKE]hoover bathroom[/STRIKE] also hoovered landing, our room where i could reach, spare room where i could reach - will do again tomorrow after DH puts boxes in loft, also dusted my bedside table and threw away some tissue charlie ripped up
    6) [STRIKE]clean bath and sink[/STRIKE]
    7) [STRIKE]put bathmat back in there ready to bath charlie tonight[/STRIKE]
    8) when Dh comes in, [STRIKE]get him to flip mattress[/STRIKE]
    9) remake bed
    10) make a butternut squash and lentil soup for dinner
