Dont usually post on this thread(just use it for inspiration), so hope you dont mind me barging on. but just wanted to give hugs to lilme, my daughter has a serious heart condition so i know how you are feeling, she was nicknamed little baby blue when she was in hospital because she didnt just turn blue, she was blue!!!!
Hospitals get such bad press these days, but i can honestly say they are amazing, its horrible when they are there but they are definately in the best place. Hope everything turns out ok.

Right I've come to a halt cause I'm talking to my Dad via IM. Thought I could do a menu plan while I was here, but my brains done a complete blank and I can't think what to cook. I'm going to have to llok in the freezer again and see what meat we need to use up.

Then I think I'll hoover and wash the floors

Not to mention sorting ebay stuff out...I sold 20 of my 39 items. I made £97. Of course have to take fees and postage off that...
I'm not sure I charged enough for postage on some items....oh well, you live and learn, I guess.
Right, going to put the kettle on while my Dad types. Will catch you laters...

Frantic Friday- Bathroom and Study/Pc Area

Level One
[STRIKE]Clean floors in these rooms[/STRIKE]
Level Two
[STRIKE]Clean baths, toilets and sinks[/STRIKE]
Clear any clutter from desk
Dust PC and desk and wipe off those cup rings!!
Wipe keyboard, house phone, sockets, switches and mouse etc
Level Three
Wash your bathroom mats, nets, clean blind/curtains etc
Wipe down tiles in bathroom..
Delete 10 links in your favourites which you no longer use or are dead!
[STRIKE]Clean shower screen/curtain if you have one/if required
Clear a mega hotspot!.. shred it.. and fling it.. or just burn it! .. Does anyone have a pulper to make logs from their old papers??[/STRIKE] OH just did this - yeah!!
Extra mission:
Pick whichever you want to attempt:

• Wipe the skirtings, door and window frames in these rooms
• [STRIKE]Check through those bottles.. what can be flung/decanted/and do you not need to buy until the year 3000??[/STRIKE]
• clean the radiators and woodwork in these rooms
• Get those uniforms, games kits, coats and things in the wash which you will need on Monday

Deep Clean Challenge
Scrub down the dirty marks on the walls in these rooms, and any dirty marks on the walls. When did you last clean 'under the rim'? Get a mirror and check it out.. how gross??? Wash any chair covers/throws/blinds etc. When did you last replace the bath sponges & toothbrushes??

FRIDAY EXTRA - Don't forget your ME time this weekend, even if it's just a nice relaxing bath or going to the pub with Pigpen!! go on you deserve it

• Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.

• Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
• Ring someone you love, just to tell them you love them!!

[strike]Clean light fittings, skirtings even the ones behind furniture. Clear as may hotspots as you can.. see if you can get it all into one pile instead of 15[/strike]

Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Level Three
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness (and coinage)!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Extra Mission
Choose one or more of:

• Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
• Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. an old toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
• Clean oven if you didn't do it last week

Deep Clean Challenge
Get in that pan cupboard. Give it all GOOD scrub out before replacing the things you need to keep.

• Put away those summer clothes from someones cupboard and get out the winter woollies.. don’t store anything that is past its best! Make a list of things you need to buy!!
• Clean windows in these rooms
• Check house for places where draughts are getting in.. doors, windows etc and see if there are ways to stop it!

i too am on the verge of tears about little mathew. What a horrible time they are having of it. At least they have the support of lil-me, as some people have to go through stuff like this alone, which must be worse. I am still keeping my fingers crossed and praying for him. He sounds like a little fighter, and at least he is in the best place to be helped in that battle.


Thanks for the thoughts and good wishes for me this morning. All went well with us today. They moved my due date forward a few days, and this was one wriggly baby - definitely just one pigpen. It was a shock after charlie as he was so still they struggled to measure the bit they needed, and this one wouldn't stay in one place. All looks normal at this stage, although the advice given to me by the midwife i wasn't happy about, so i can see me having to be a stroppy mare at some stage, and as i am not as daft and stupid as last time believe me they had best not chuff me around in an attempt to save some pennies.

anyway - me and DH are thinking of popping to the pub at the end of our street for lunch to celebrate as it has been one busy morning so far.

Lilme - hugs, just the same as the others have said, hes in the right place, they found it and hes got the best people on his team - him and his family are in my thoughts. He must be a fighter to battle through to now and that incrediably long labour, hes strong. Just puts your own life into persective doesn't it poor mite.

Not done anything yet today apart from take DS swimming, really unlike him as he screamed through most of it and is now fast asleep. Think he's tired out as had a busy week, thinking about dropping off a toddler group session as he's whacked and then I don't get chance to play with him at home. Off to hairdressers this afternoon and do a bit of shopping - on my own!!! Really need to get off my butt and go and wash my hair though as its gross.

WM on now, DW done and empited, everywhere tided. Huge pile of toys for DS's birthday in corner but they can stay out for a bit, its a big lounge.

Loving the facebook! How many how been shocked by how others look? So people look nothing like what I had pictured in my head - and so many really pretty faces too!!!
