Good morning, just having a coffee then will get started, raining here too so will be getting wet running between car and house, oh joys.

Right today

Inform more people of moving
Finish packing the food that can go over, done another 5 bags this morning and there is more!
Find stain blocker, ladders, wood (fr shelves) to take over
Remove shelves in hall cupboard
Boxes down from on top of cupboards
Measure desks, see what will fit where and which can go, we only need 1 and have 3[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Find linen for boys beds to go over [/STRIKE]found one set
[STRIKE] Fill bag of clothes to take
If room in car take wall cupboards down and put them in yay they fit!
Pack car
Unpack car when we get there
Have another go at nasty oven, got some more powerful cleaning stuff
Finish painting our room
See if we can get some of the shelves up one up
Get stuff ready for club tonight
Help DP run model car club
Come home and do some more plastering in back hall
Do more packing

Morning all pouring here as well. All kids at school now. I'm feeling really rough again so am taking it easy.

swimming with DS2 and DS3
DS1 - sort his clothes - they are all over the place as he says loads don't fit - he has really grown so this could be true so may have to go shopping again.
30 minutes more paperwork

Having a hot chocolate now as I can't face breakfast

Morning all.

Have taken your advice and having a rest today - rang in sick.

DH has dropped Charlie off at nursery for me even though that made him getting on for 45 minutes late for work - while he did that i ate breakie and turned on the WM that i loaded up last night, and then fell asleep on the sofa. He woke me up when he came back in to swap cars.

So i thought i would have a cuppa and a pop on here. My plan for the day involves lots of sleep, a trip to the drs to get my free prescription form stamped and a wee sample pot for Fridays scan and midwife appointment. I am just debating whether to go and make a drs appointment and take a bit more time off with a sick note, or see if i feel better from one day of rest first. What do you lot think, seems though you have more experience with this child growing malarkey than i do?


Rach for some of the activity bags for the wedding, try ASDA - i just got some lovely beanie type toys for Charlie's party bags and they are one or two pounds each, and lovely for small kiddies. Plus they look as if they should cost more than that. farm animals, jungle animals, and things like butterflys and ladybirds. Our ASDA had loads of them anyway, as i got 8 different ones and there were more

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen and Dining Room

Level One
[strike]Clean floors[/strike][STRIKE] hoovered - will mop kitchen after lunch[/STRIKE]
Level Two
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/STRIKE]
[strike]Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there![/strike]
[strike]Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary) [/strike]
Level Three
[strike]Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round[/strike]
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
[strike]Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness (and coinage)!! Tumble dryer and dishwasher filters need to be done too!![/strike]
Extra Mission
Choose one or more of:

• [strike]Wipe window sills[/strike] dining room done and clean windows in these rooms
• Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. an old toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
• Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
• [strike]30 minutes ironing.[/strike]will do later in the week

Deep Clean Challenge
[strike]Get in that pan cupboard. Give it all GOOD scrub out before replacing the things you need to keep. If no pan cupboard do a different one! Feel free to get carried away and do more cupboards!!![/strike] did this recently

Been to shops and got all the bits and pieces I needed to, paid the rent whilst I was up there too.

Gonna make a brew then make a start.....the thought of that pan cupboard's making me shudder, It's awful and massive and full of junk. I will think positve.....I will think positive.....I will do it.....I will do it!!

Well, I got in from work at 6am, and since then I have been busy...

Terrible Tuesday - Kitchen(Don't have a dining room so thats half my job done already!)

Defrosted small freezer.

Done the bins ready for collection tomorrow morn.

Ooh I feel very smug and satisfied now!! :A I think I'm going to enjoy this thread, it's going to keep me busy between my debt busting!

Spent the last hour phoning informing people of move, water rates was a shock, with being in council property now we pay weekly about £5. Because there is only 6 months left in the water rates year and they can only do a split into 4 monthly payments it's going to be £45 a month! I only budgeted for £30 so will need to rejig that in somehow...

Right, time to finish emptying those cupboards. Suppose you're right we won't starve but it's really shocked me that I have so much stuff.

Hi again,
Quiet day for me, doing the lounge. I'm also doing the dining room because its all open plan. Well I do some of the dining room on kitchen day and some on lounge day.......
I think because I've decluttered so much and try to keep it generally tidy its taking next to no time to do.
I have done all paperwork piles and hotspots, though I'm generally keeping on top of those, so they are not that bad.
I've gone over the kitchen , put on DW. Put a load in WM. Washed up saucepans, dusted, just need to hoover. I need to do that every day or else it gets a bit nasty...
I've got a pile of ebay stuff on the shelves in the dining room, but thats acceptable while I'm tryin g to sell it. I will box up what doesn't sell so I can do a carboot with it next year, then charity shop whats left...
Right, going to do the hoovering so I can finish up. Will do some baking tonight or tomorrow...

I've started the pan cupboard, now all I've got to do is sort through all the junk and put it back. see you in a week lol

Tiddles is asking to go to bed already!!! She was messing at bed time last night and they went to bed later than usual anyway so she is really tied.. so being mean I am making her stay up until at least half eleven.. so she isn't best pleased with me right now!

I'm making an almond loaf for the chillies lunches tomorrow.. the brownie cake is long gone!! .. might do another one actually as that one was rather delish!! Hubby has just about scarfed his carrot cake so is after another one baking.. I thought about baking 2 cutting one into slices and freezing it so he just needs 1 slice for his pack up each day.. The other one he can eat as and when. I want to get his nutty christmas cake in today as well. I have a chocolate loaf to bake as well.. It remains to be seen just how much I actually get done.. bet I can't get the whole list done like I did yesterday!!
