  • morning all :)

have made a start on the kitchen, but all that bending down gave me heartburn so I've stopped now :D

I'm inspired by all your baking lists Pigpen :) I normally bake loads, but haven't made anything in my new cooker yet and we've been in the new kitchen for 3 weeks now! I've cooked plenty, but no cake yet. Might have to change that today :)

michelle - glad you took the day off. i know nothing much about pregnancy but i have suffered from exhaustion and wished i had taken tie off sooner rather than hvaing to take a long time off in the end. i'd advise you to get signed off. your health and that of the baby is the top priority. :) i promise if i get too stressed out i'll take my own advice and get signed off ;)

Well I'm feeling cold again because for the second time in as many weeks I went to bed for an hour :rotfl: This time though I should have got under the quilt - I woke up freezing! Heater now on in our bedroom (low with doors open to take the chill off the bathrom & DDs room as well) and the livingroom fire is on high. Hot drink and I think I'm going to go and tackle the kitchen, after putting the heater on in there as well. So today so far I have done NOTHING :p I wonder if I can manage to declutter enough to move the tupplewear into the kitchen? Maybe then I might be able to get around to getting rid of the chest-of-drawers in the livingroom  ?

Right, trainers & fleece on and into the kitchen I go....after 1 timed game of scrabble while I finish my hot chocolate :p

chocolate cake in.. yummy!! It smells heavenly in here!!

Taking Tiddles to bed and I'm making DD3's apron and the curtains for the middle room.. eventually!! Found some red and yellow check fabric for the apron.. does a farmers wife have a pinny type apron or a full front apron do we think?

Any idea where I put the curtain fabric??

Back soon.. oh.. might have lunch first actually!!

  • Morning all - have just got up - going from night shifts to days and back again really beggars up your body clock. Mind you, the thought of the oven nearly sent me back scurrying for the duvet but no, I can't be lazy or pigpen will chase after me will a leopard stiletto!

Brekkie first then will start on the list - glad the weather's a bit duff 'cause at least not got another excuse to put off tidying indoors.

Oh, just remembered, today's last day on Boots website for triple points if anyone needs to stock up on 3 for 2 or makeup etc (online only tho')

    Check in later x
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Hi everyone, hope you are all ok.
I have been busy this morning in dd's room - several fling boogies in there!
Also did the airing cupboard and a quick flick round.
Next job is ironing and then make some soup and bread for tea (leek & potato) dd's parents evening tonight so quick tea needed.
Will come back on later to see how you are all doing - lots of baking going on across the country!

We must not, in trying to think about how we can make a big difference, ignore the small daily differences we can make which, over time, add up to big differences that we often cannot foresee.
