NoPay in full within 28 days of the CCJ date and it doesn't go on your credit file. Don't pay and it does and affects your ability to get credit and things like mobile phones, a mortgage, a loan, credit cards for up to the next 6 years.
A ccj goes on the register immediately it is handed out (and cascades to the cras and is put on your file
You have a month to pay it off from its issue to be able to get it removed from the records
If it is unpaid for a month it remains on the register for 6 years.
The only way to get it removed then is by set aside or set aside by consent0 -
For goodness sake stop listening to posts by Tarambor, who has been misleading people on this board.Does it absolutely have to be paid now?
