Well done Lamewolf on finishing the putting away in your Room of Doom. You are, without doubt, Super-Flylady of the Week.
*Blushes bright red* It really wasn't hard; my RoD is the spare room, which is used as a storage room. (I don't have a spare bed, so I have a good reason not to have human overnight guests). It used to be a gen-yoo-ine tip; I got it sorted and vowed it was never getting like that again. ;)

Grandmasue I agree the benefits system is pretty heartless on those of us with MH issues. I got put straight into the "support" group ofr ESA, but I really had to run the gauntlet for PIP - I got it, but at considerable cost to my health and confidence. Feel free to let off steam, many of us will know exactly what you're talking about. Oh, and very best of luck with DS's appeal. x

Ok, let's see....
Thursday: Bedroom(s)

Level 1
Strip the bed and change it. This is a regular Saturday task.
Dust the light fitting Delegated to Mr LW as I can't stretch up; he's actually been detailed to go round all our light fittings. :D
Vacuum Already done; I do the whole bungalow in one hit, it's more energy and time effective than getting the vacuum out several times (bungalow is tiny)
Level 2
Dust the bedside table To do - both mine and Mr LW's
Turn out the drawer Mine is done - Mr LW can do his own (I'm not going in there!! )
Wash all your used dusters, the vacuum cleaner filters and destring the pick up roller Dusters are done when there's enough to make a load worthwhile; filters are on a schedule; I destring (or rather de-Wolfy's-hair :( ) the roller every time the vac is used.
Level 3
Wash all your pet bedding (as long as it’s not raining) N/A - they bring their own. :o
Go through all your jackets and coats and decide which ones you want to keep, after emptying all the pockets Done just a couple of weeks ago - I'm ahead of you!! :D
Wash the window OK, I will. :o

Extras

• Keep putting three things away in the Room of Doom N/A any more :p

• Go through your underwear draw and get rid of anything that’s dingy or frumpy. If you have any bras that don’t fit they can be recycled through ‘Smalls for All’ if gently worn or new, Against Breast Cancer collects them and Oxfam also takes them. Done a couple of weeks ago - still trying to source some replacement bras before I get rid of the old ones.

• Pick a piece of jewellery that you haven’t worn in a long time and wear it for the rest of the day. Decide at bedtime if you want to keep it. Good idea!

• Check when your library books are due and if you haven’t got any library books on loan, tot up approximately how much you’ve spent on books this year No library books - total of £10 spent this year, on Mr LW's "Alex" annual (I buy him this every year) We had a tonne of books of Mr LW's that I've never read - a SABLE situation methinks, as I rarely get time to read.
OK that's not too bad for today; we do need to pop into town to the F&V market, I want to ensure we have enough so that I don't need to leave Cookie on her own more than once while she's here.

Apart from that, the dough for the pizza (tonight's dins) has been made, and there's now a loaf on in the BM. I've gone through another load of online surveys, and collected another £15 in Amzn vouchers from one of the survey companies (to go with the £4 via Paypal yesterday). :money:

I hope you had a lovely zizz this afternoon Ionafan and you found the bucket of spoons I sent you.

Hi Mrs MP! (((Hugs))) for both you and your daughter about wedding guests who are too lazy to reply to an invitation. I'm hard-heartened enough to phone people up and say, 'I'm so sorry you're not able to join us on the day, it would have been so lovely to see you ....' Job done.

Hmm. I should have put that on the list. We all need to be doing it, obviously. I hope the baby cuddling goes well.

Have done my first volunteer stint. Most people are lovely but some are very, very dim. It's good for me to have to be so polite while explaining that a war memorial is not an adventure playground for three year olds.

Just having a bit of a rest after a late night and three hours on my feet and then I'll get cracking on the fridge before launching into today's list. I'll do as much as I can but well done anyone who's managed the whole thing every day!

GrandmaSue, concentrating on the rooms you spend most of your time in sounds like an excellent idea, especially as you're dealing with your DS's stressful situation on top of your own health issues. When things are really chaotic here and totally out of control I've got into the habit of setting the beeper for five minutes and doing the most obvious things in one room for just that five minutes and then stopping. Amazingly, five minutes in all the rooms over a whole day makes a HUGE difference. Just as well because I can single-handedly turn this place into a complete tip without even thinking about it.
Better is good enough.

Grandmasue Hi. My DS (18) has Crohn's Disease and has suffered with anxiety and depression, has mild learning difficulties and is possibly on the autistic spectrum. He had his DLA stopped some time ago and now is determined to work and live a "normal" life, so is doing a part time job, even though there are days when he should probably be in bed. Life is so damned hard for him anyway without financial worries. He really couldnt get by without us supporting him financially and we are not exactly well off. He gets no practical support from anywhere. If it helps at all you are not on your own hun x

LR and kitchen tidied, one load of washing put away, another put in, quick flick round with the duster, will hoover later. We dont currently have a bed so our bedroom is a disaster zone anyway.

But GCSE result are in and he did well so thats a relief. I am on with more paid stuff.

Oooh and I have rung the optician and dentist, both of which I hate. I have appointments next week.

Hospital appointment for the 7th.. for me... now, how many reasons/excuses can I find to cancel it?

My 21 and 20 year olds have no income either. student finance screwed up the 20 y/o's student funding so she has to pay it all back despite being entitled to 3x what they gave her.. and my 21 year old has been 20 months without a penny because he is 'doing the wrong level course' .. he got £10 a week student bursary but that stopped in June.. it's totally unfair.

• Nice day out had, and friend gave me some HG veggies in exchange for me taking a couple of things to the tip for her (her 'local' tip is a 50 minute round trip for her, mine is 20 seconds up the road!)

Kiddies having an early bath and I've just put the clean washing away. Leftovers all round for dinner so nice and easy.

YL - you must be so proud of your lads, good on him for being determined to live as normal a life as possible xx

Listed some bits on eBay and one sold straightaway so a tenner into the savings pot.

Off to wash the monkies then pjs all round and a film I think xx

Pigpen - I was handing out results today - from what I saw and heard English in general and Eng Lang in particular seemed to be a 'bad' year - with a lot going for re-marks. Lots more '4' grades than was expected (by a good amount)
