It seems like a good price. But thinking about Samsung S8, battery could be a problem.0

It's not an alternative if it isn't comparable. The only thing Motorola makes that could compare to the S8 is the Z2 Force, which is expected to cost more than the S8 when it is released in the UK.
I'm pretty sure nothing Wileyfox make are anything near the specifications of flagship phones from the big names.
I'm not saying that everyone needs an expensive phone but lets be fair about our comparisons.
I got my S7 at a good price and some of the photos I've taken just because it was on me are more than worth what I paid.0 -
but comes with samsungs bloated version of android , its not stock android
and as pointed out by someone else the last few Samsung models have been unreliable which is a shame
for the majority of people storage and Ram are king when using a phone , having a flagship phone means nothing apart from the "I've got the latest xxxx or yyyy " and peoples perceived "my phones better than yours"
I look at reliability , cost and reviews personallyEx forum ambassador

Well I wouldn't buy the S8, as I don't like it. But personally my experience with the S7 has been very good. I don't think Samsung bloat is really all that bad (It's certainly much improved from a few years ago), and in any case the phone is designed to handle it.
I'd argue that the CPU, screen and camera are equally important and the things that really separate mid-range phones from the flagships.
But my point really was that Samsung does some nice mid-range phones that you could fairly compare with offerings from Motorola and Wileyfox, and weigh up what is best.
Some people only want the best for the reason that it's the best but others will genuinely make use of a more powerful phone with better features.
Like you I wouldn't buy something I didn't think was good value and that didn't get good reviews. I wouldn't spend almost £600 on the S8 just because it's Samsung's flagship because I think it has inexcusable design flaws but I equally appreciate that nothing Wileyfox offer can be considered comparable in specification.0 -
I would be looking at One Plus range .
Or possibly wait for Note 8 .0 -
I'd wait until about 6-9 months after a phone is launched - it usually comes down in price and most of the software bugs are ironed out.
Make sure you buy an EU/EEA sourced model and you'll get a 2 year warranty from Samsung (unlike many other brands like Apple)
