Velvetglove - do you think if we had enough people agreeing they may do something about the date format?? It woud benefit so many people - and like you said give the BGs an easier job at the end of the day!

dawnylou - it would be great but I don't think it is that easy.... I'm sure I've read a discussion about comp end dates & I don't think there is a date formula which you can use successfully in the forum search engine. If there was, then it would just be a case of highlighting the formula that did work & making other comp posters aware of it & the benefits to see if they wanted to adopt it.

I haven't tried different permutations myself yet, but it's something that would definitely be worth looking at when I have some more time I'm back at work again tomorrow up until Christmas so won't have as much time as I have had in the last 2 months on here

Not sure how I'm going to keep up :eek: but I have an understanding BF who may help me out now & again

Hi firstly, I hope I am putting this in the correct place, if not please let me know where it should be.

I have seen a competition to win a BMW Z4 (which I would really love but would probably land up selling due to debts!!!!) but would like any advice of how to spot a scam competition. I have done quite a bit of research on this one particular competition but don't want to post a scam. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I will put up the details when I know that I am posting in the correct place.

£2008 sounds astronomical to me, perhaps we need a decimal point in there for the less lucky amongst us? £20.08 sounds a little more achievable....:rotfl:
