I was wondering if anyone's heard anything from the Kinder Bueno competition. According to their terms and conditions winners would be contacted within 72 hours of the competition closing at midnight on the 4th of December. By my reckoning that's just a couple of hours away now and I've not heard anything even though my picture was in the top 10 on the evening of the 4th - it dropped down later but I reckon I'd still have been in the top 100.
I wrote them an e-mail and got a quick answer saying that the competiton actually closed at midnight on the 9th December (that's not the date they stated in the terms and conditions) so they still "on time" as 72 hours has not gone yet, and good luck.
They must have some technical problem on their website, because when you submit a new photo, it still comes up with an old thank you note with the old prizes and similar glitches. I'm still hoping as I've been in the Top 100 all the way through , but past midnight now and still no e-mail!0 -
Velvetglove - do you think if we had enough people agreeing they may do something about the date format?? It woud benefit so many people - and like you said give the BGs an easier job at the end of the day!Dream of being mortgage free....
APR 2007 - £109,825 FEB 2012 - £98,664.53:beer:0 -
dawnylou - it would be great but I don't think it is that easy.... I'm sure I've read a discussion about comp end dates & I don't think there is a date formula which you can use successfully in the forum search engine. If there was, then it would just be a case of highlighting the formula that did work & making other comp posters aware of it & the benefits to see if they wanted to adopt it.
I haven't tried different permutations myself yet, but it's something that would definitely be worth looking at when I have some more timeI'm back at work again tomorrow up until Christmas so won't have as much time as I have had in the last 2 months on here
Not sure how I'm going to keep up  but I have an understanding BF who may help me out now & againSad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out0 -

I've just received an email saying I was in the top 100 and won. I hope you get one too.0 -
Hi firstly, I hope I am putting this in the correct place, if not please let me know where it should be.
I have seen a competition to win a BMW Z4 (which I would really love but would probably land up selling due to debts!!!!) but would like any advice of how to spot a scam competition. I have done quite a bit of research on this one particular competition but don't want to post a scam. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I will put up the details when I know that I am posting in the correct place.
Cheers :j0 -
If you send it me by PM I'll have a look and if it's dodgy I'll tell you why?0

Could be worse....you might win 40p off a heat patch......or tickets to a heat patch show0 -
£2008 sounds astronomical to me, perhaps we need a decimal point in there for the less lucky amongst us? £20.08 sounds a little more achievable....:rotfl:0
