I believe that if you keep at it, by the law of averages, you WILL have success eventually!
It was four months before I won anything and at that time I was entering everything on the board.
I then won 3 really big prizes in 6 weeks, followed by another dry spell of 2 or so months.
Still, I know how disheartening these dry periods are so lots of lucky dust to all you are trying.....0 -
PinkJenn - I sense doubt, but you wait and see - the power of the lucky dust is manifold! :P
Masterthief - yes asthmatics win less, as do those with acne and athletes foot.
Have some lucky dust anyway
Peter - the winds of change are blowing in your direction - with a liberal sprinkling of lucky dust. Have you really been comping since 2004 with NO wins?

Hi all,
Congrats to all who have been fortunate this year. I have only just joined the comp fold and was wondering if there was any advice for newbies
When you enter a comp do you just send in a single entry or do peeps enter multiples of times? If multiple entries are completed is there an easy way of doing it
Thanks in advance - Please feel free to pass me some dust this way. am not naturally a lucky person so willingly take any help
Regards

I need some Lucky Dust please. :j
Not had much luck so far.0 -
check T&Cs before you do multiple entries as many competitions do not allow them and others claim to even check IP addresses so entering different email addresses may be a no no.
Roboform software is an excellent bit of software, inexpensive and saves loads of time when you are filling in entry forms as well as storing registration details of all the websites you join. I would highly recommend that you download it. There is also a free trial period of 30 days0 -

I tend to do it in spurts, a mass drive for a few weeks, when I don't win I give up for a while and start again later. I bet when I do eventually win its something for DD or She who must be obeyed.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

LOL peter. I get called 'Kirk' short for Kirsteen, and I have been referred to as 'Her Kirkness' on occasion
Mercman - there is a thread with tips for newbies - I think it may even be a sticky - worth having a look at - and here is your lucky comping dust for 2008!
Good luck Busybody! *blows dust*0 -
