Looks like the idea of £2008 is most popular then!!!!
Some people create their own storms....then get upset when it rains!
  • I have only just started so hoping to join the 2008 challenge.

I really like the £2008 idea.

My dream win for 2008 would be a holiday..anywhere! Even if its just a city break because my OH and I are doing the house up next year so won't be able to afford one. Would also like to try and aim for a free christmas next year too!
  • £2008 idea sounds good to me too. A lot of people have easily beaten that this year but its an achievable target for everyone if they get stuck in with all the comps on here. :D

I might do both, although I keep some prizes so would take longer to get £2008 cash. It would be like a 2 part challenge I guess :D

    A Question about Pigsback.

Can someone tell me how to find the CD WOW quiz. I am registered on Pigsback.co.uk, not .com, and when people post its in .com. I've managed to find the others, but not that one.
Does anyone else find PB to be a difficult site to get around, or is it just me? I never seem to be able to find the clickthroughs either. Until now I have been able to click on the postings, but now I can't do that.

furndire, I joined on pigsback.com but I can also use my login info on pigsback.co.uk - since the comps are posted with .com links it is the .com that I log into. I have to admit it did say 2 or 3 times that my login details were incorrect when I first tried the .co.uk but I knew they were right so I just kept entering them & it then let me on.

Hope this helps as I now just use the .com site so I can follow the comp links!

I find PB a horrible site to navigate around & if the links weren't up for the daily comps I wouldn't be able to find them all!

So my advice - try your .co.uk login details on the .com pigsback & you will get on there! Then your click through troubles should go away :)
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

I think the main improvements that could be made on this forum are, to find a searchable date format; if comps are local for the area to be posted in the thread title; and for the search function to be able to pick up posts that we haven't thanked.

Oh I agree with what you've said there! A searchable date format that everyone sticks to would be excellent as then you could find out which comps are due to close the next day etc & ensure you had entered them. Would also be easier for the BGs to find which posts need to move into Game Over :)

My BF wrote me a program that looks at the threads & will display a thread where I haven't thanked the first post. I know someone a little while back was tlaking about the RSS feed & I don't know if that would be able to help? If you entered the comps from the RSS feed then like read/unread emails the thread names would be bold or normal depending on if you had been into it or not. I haven't used it myself as I have the comp program but it may be something you could try?

  • My target is to pay for our family holiday in 2008 by selling wins. I like the £2008 challenge though, great idea.
