Anyone know why a competition would want a daily entry or an enter 30 times a day entry? What's the point? Why not just get everyone to enter once?

Ooh thanks for this, I've had a few missed calls from with-held numbers the last few days and wondered what it was.
Come to think of it, on our landline was a missed call who left their number, and I found that number was to do with magazines sales.
So it's as I thought and probably not the big win.:rolleyes:

because its premium rate money and so want your pennies, hence they make it fair for online by offering same.

i had a suggestion, i know im still new to comps so please dont shout me down,
dawnylou is putting in alot of time and effort for the closing comps, could we not have a sticky where we copy any comp put up into there in a closing date format, then there would be some order and they can be deleted as they close?
probably not workable but ithought id throw it in. x toni

hi i have another suggestion hopefully it is feasible and makes sense
is it possible for us to have another sticky for updated comps please?
i know its probably not a good idea for another sticky but i feel it will be alot easier to find the comps to enter
say for example the puzzler
the dailymail boat the fiat 500
and there was another one which i forgot where you had to travlel around the world
also theres a grolsch one somewhere
anyone think the same?

I normally subscribe to the daily e-mil for comps I want to remember or use pen and paper and write them down, but an updated comps page would be a good idea but sounds complicated

that grolsch one does my nut in, i leave tv on channel 4 but dont spot the adverts!

How do all those online competitions actually collate all the entries and execute the random pick for the winner? You submit the entry then what?

Did you used to like/enter the instant win comps on Avon? A friend of mine has emailed their website and asked if they are coming back. The reply was noncommital, but she feels if enough people contact them, they may bring them back...........used to drive me nuts though !!
