I think you answered your own question.
Stick to this site or sites like Loquax. Ive never heard to anyone winning on MyOffers and you will die of boredom without other compers to compare notes with

I wonder if someone can answer this question. I'm usually quite good with the search engine but when I try to search closing dates I never have any luck. I try the Search this forum then put in *15/01* (or other variations thereon) but it never comes up with anything - any comments

The search doesnt generally 'do' expiry dates! The only real way to search for comps already posted is by either web address or keywords(but this isnt always successful)

To be honest if I want to find closing comps I head over to loquax or prizefinder though recently dawnylou on here has been doing threads with the closing comps in each day

There was a thread recently on expiry dates though I think it will be merged in this discussion thread somewhere!

because its premium rate money and so want your pennies, hence they make it fair for online by offering same.

I seeeee, so by phone you can enter as many times as you like (so long as you can afford it?) :)

Y'know when you get to the top of a page on the board, especially during busy periods, do you refresh to make sure you don't miss any when going to the next page?

I go backwards from the last time I visited - I started refreshing fairly recently, and it's amazing what I would have missed if I hadn't.

How do all those online competitions actually collate all the entries and execute the random pick for the winner? You submit the entry then what?

Anyone? Or should I ask this in a different thread?

I would have thought that the only people who would know the answer is the person who organises the comp. I would assume that the majority of times a computer is used and a random name is picked? As long as they keep picking me they can do it however they like! ;) :rotfl:

Just got this email ref daily updates

Thanks for your email. Sorry to hear you're having this problem. The issue stems from the fact that sometimes your ISP blocks us and when this happens three times it it unsubscribes you. So you just have to sign up to it again on our website, and hope to not get blocked again
  • Hi,
I'm very new to competitions, I just don't really want to give out my phone number to everyone, yet it seems to take ages trying to find competitions that don't require it. Am I just being too fussy - if I put it down will I be inundated with calls? Any tips would be more than welcome.

Use a mobile phone number from a spare simcard, and if you have to put a landline just make one up, I use 01132123456, if they need to contact you they have all your other details anyway.

Ha ha, just checked that number out and it is actually a nightclub in leeds, whoops.
