Hello!

I have been inspired...TO WIN!!

Since watching Martin on his new show last week, I have decided that I too can spend 1 hour a day entering compeitions. I'm just wondering, am I doing it right??

I usually log on to here & do as many as I can in about an hour, sometimes I also log on to magazines sites, as well as myoffers. Is there any other main UK (reliable/trustworthy)comping site I could try?

I don't think I will be able to be a true comper until I actually win something for my efforts, for now, it just seems like a task I am doing. but it is exciting thinking of all the possibilities with my winning prize!!

One day, I too will write my prizes in my signature...

Thanks to anyone who has any advice...

I started comping here in October and have already won over £1000 in prizes (all of them small prizes, just lots of them! ) and I don't use any other sites, this site is enough for me. I probably spend more than an hour a day on here though.

And I personally would avoid myoffers, you get ALOT of spam with that company That is why myoffers competitions are not posted on this site.

hi and welcome to mse,please avoid sites like myoffers/!!!!!!/vouch4me ect.im on here from 10am till 5pm and i still cant keep up with all the comps.best way to start is at the last page and work ypur way up.hope you have a happy stay.if any problems,then ask a mod(kipper never seams to sleep),i hope you win loads in 2008

Wow! Thanks everyone for your tips. I dont mind being sent spam as I have a separate email addy for my comps. But maybe I will give up on myoffers to be safe.

I ahve my partner doing 1 hour a day too so hopefully we will win something soon...!

Take your time looking through the board and decide what you want to enter maybe just do what takes your fancy for a while whilst you get used to entering things

also read the comps tip sticky at the top of the board for hints and ideas on comping


I'm also going to move this to the Discussion Board, people will still answer you

Yes I do cause when I get in from work I start at page 9 ish - wherever the bold (unread) type takes me and work towards page 1 before posting so I refresh the pages

Does anyone know about the daily emails, I subscribed yesterday but haven't had one & another question, when you get the daily update email, is it possible to just have posts from the main board, or do you have to have posts from the sub boards too? - am away a few days at the weekend so will use the daily updates to catch up (Sorry to post it again, no-one answered so I deleted my other post)
