I have won many things from just clicking through in the past...

For some reason I always copy shortcut and paste these days LOL.... just blame my age as I won pretty well the other way for years!

..the IP address is definitely recorded though as in winning emails I've had it in the email where I came from (i.e. prizefinder.com)

Strange that we seem not to worry about this when we visit sites to earn money from "clicking through", eg Quidco and Pigsback!

A couple of wins I have had specifically said that my name "came out of the hat", so it doesn't sound as if much science goes into choosing winners.
