. These companies are very good at tricking you into accepting mail.
"If you acqiesce to disincline this offer then please untick the box and then tick it twice to opt in to receive our crap through your door" sort of thing

yes, loads of through-the-door mail..but doesnt bother me.
I have a 'competitions only' email address, so it leaves my personal one free and it's easily deleted daily.
But the hassle is all worth it!! It's a rewarding hobby.Good Luck All

All my family and friends were chuffed to bits when they received their presents this year, mostly from my comping wins, as I've never got around to sussing out how to sell stuff on ebay yet. Maybe that should be my New Years Resolution?!0

As regards ebay, I've got an MP3 dj mixer thingy that I am going to have to sell, just got to find the right place to put it.

Luckily, didn't take long for a win, but it was for a tee shirt and cd by someone called Nathan, hadn't a clue who he was, but I was so chuffed that I had won!!!!!!! Previous to that the only thing I had won in 50 years of buying raffle tickets etc was a mouldy box of chocolates, and that was 30 years ago. So October 2006, I decided to give it a really good go, and entered everything there was. Now I have cut down quite a bit on what I enter, but its still exciting to get the mystery parcels & wems.0 -
I dont know what i wouldve done if i hadnt had comp wins to give this year - the main thing was the Wii - my children knew i couldnt afford a Wii, and that they were almost impossible to get in the shops, so when they got the comp win for christmas, it really did make their day!!! They also got CDs, books and DVDs that i won, so def worth comping for me.
Im not joining the win 2008 in 2008 comp, as my own goal will be to win christmas next year - if i cant use it as a present, im hoping to sell it towards buying presents. Comp wins also go to making our lives better, having things that we wouldnt have the money for - ie im on the laptop that i won, ive never had a new computer before, so this really was a special win for me.0 -
i live in hope then.... thanks guys
