Let's just say that I'm a very popular woman
  • At the start of December I thought I'd save all emails in my trash folder for this month, so far 1440 & we're still a few days away from the end.

Snail junk mail I've mentioned before in other threads gets sent back in the prepaid envelopes I get with a few takeaway leaflets sprinkled in for good measure.
    Winnings :D

I get LOADS of junk email but Gmail is excellent at sorting it and it all goes straight to my spam folder so it really doesn't affect me at all, except when I occasionally have a flick through to laugh at the hilarious email subjects :rotfl:

I get the odd junk mail through the post but to be honest, I actually like it because I love getting post :o
Wins: Jan-Sept:£1991.27, Nov: "The Rough Guide to the iPhone" book, "FWD this link" book ... £12.98
Win £2008 in 2008 number 60, only £3.75 to go! (it is highly likely I'll win absolutely nothing else now this year! ;))

I get very little to my home.

And not too much in my inbox, but I do clear it several times a day!

I get the odd brochure or junk through the door, but not too much. The only reason I get them is because I have not ticked a box or something by accident. These companies are very good at tricking you into accepting mail.
"If you acqiesce to disincline this offer then please untick the box and then tick it twice to opt in to receive our crap through your door" sort of thing

I get shed loads of emails, so what i've done is created new email addresses that I only access via webmail so it doesn't clog up my inbox.

It's a small sacrifice I suppose for winning certain competitions.

Oh, I had an automatic umbrella delivered today

But if we think we are winning something that would thrill a guitar playing relative, that does make a difference.

Who really cares? It would be like entering a comp for a VW Car and hoping that it was a Passat and it turns out to be a Polo. If you are happy with the Polo you enter, if not - you don't.

If you want to go down these lines then an earlier post I posted on here to "Win a Gibson Guitar" should really have been titled "Win a Les Paul Gibson Guitar" as to not disappoint all those Epiphone fans out there :p
