I have appealed using POPLA's online service and I have had to adapt the draft to fulfil their lay-out requirements, i.e. no more than 2000 characters per ground of appeal. Not what I expected....but let's see how it goes.

Truth to be told, I am not feeling too optimistic.

you should have saved the appeal as a pdf and UPLOADED it to their site , like the NEWBIES sticky thread tells you to

If we were to send a letter before action, what would be the reasons for our small claim, if breastfeeding our 11 month baby boy seems like does not qualify as discrimination?

We just want to make sure that if we go that way, we have somehow a solid point on our side.

Use your imagination. You do not need to actually take them to court, just make them think that you might. Have you never played poker?

Why did you do that then, without checking here, seeing as every winning (deliberately very long) POPLA appeal here is up to a dozen pages, including photos and evidence?

You can't add stuff later. You are now stuck with a pointlessly short POPLA appeal.

If you searched the forum for the words '2000 characters POPLA' (and changed the search to 'show POSTS') you'd have found out how to avoid that in ten seconds flat. We've done these for years.

I came to this forum looking for advice, not to play games. You should not encourage people to take actions for the sake of it.

I didn't know and I was running out of time so I did it as best as I could. Too late now as you are saying but I will accept the consequences.

From now on, I will be more careful.

I had to appeal before the 31st to be within the 28 days period.

I didn't reduce it to 9/10ths, I used 3 ground sections so I kind of compiled points 1 and 4 from my post into 1. I could not include the details of the CoP paragraphs or the resolutions, i.e. I didn't add the text of the paragraphs 13.1 to 13.4 of the BPA CoP but I referred to the numbering.
