Assertive is good, especially as the land-owner's agent has disregarded the law and is attempting to obtain from you monies to which they are not entitled. Do as CM says, kick @rse.You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0

Why should you get special treatment?
How did it take 23 minutes?
You ought to know when your child needs feeding and allow sufficient time."A nation's greatness is measured by how it treats its weakest members." ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Because the Equality Act 2010 says so and the OP has protected characteristics within the Act. It is the will of parliament.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Why should you get special treatment?
It is not special treatment, it is the law.
How did it take 23 minutes?
Indeed, it can take much longer.
You ought to know when your child needs feeding and allow sufficient time.
This is not something you can accurately predict. You never know how far you can go until you go too far.0 -

I take it you've never had to look after a baby or very small child - it certainly sounds like it.
There is a small baby in our family at the moment, and I can tell you that he will demand to be fed just when the hell he feels like it, and not to any damned timetable. could be one hour after the last feed, could be 4.0 -

I am not going to waste my time answering your questions. You certainly have no clue about travelling with a 11 month and a 2 year old boys.
I will leave it here.0 -

That post is most unhelpful, and fails to understand the basics.
first of all, breastfeeding infants+carers are a protected characteristic under the Equality act.
Secondly, unless I'm missing something, Babies are not programmable, they dont keep fixed hours for things like nappy changes, feeds, naps and sleeps - unless i was doing something wrong when helping to look after some small children ( 3 year old and a baby) in the family.
As mentioned previously there are certain protected characteristics that the Equality act (EA) covers, and for which reasonable adjustments need to be made without those who require them having to jump through additional hoops .
Car parks with time limits and anpr cameras almost always discriminate by default, unless the limit is set high enough, ie, instead of 90 minutes, in a supermarket the time limit is put up to 4 hours, or the camera system is advanced enough to detect people with disability's, infants etc, and im sure that not even Trevor Whitehouse's cameras that could apparently detect terrorists could do that .
As for the letter, too fluffy

As registered keeper of Vehicle XXXXX i received a parking charge notice from your agents Premier park reference number XXX on date XXXX
A Challenge to this parking charge notice was made to your agents, premmier park on the grounds that additional time was required for a breastfeeding infant.
As this is a protected characteristic under the Equality act 2010 for which reasonable adjustments ( such as extra time) must be provided, we were shocked to find that your agents had turned down the challenge/appeal and had decided to pursue the matter further.
As you are jointly responsible for the actions of your agents, Premier park, Premier parks actions attitude, and behavior in this are exposing you to potential legal action for a breach of the Equality act.
I am also of the opinion that Legal action should be used as a last resort, as in most cases its better to educate and inform those who may be unaware of their responsibility and give them chance to rectify matters first.
As such I am now requesting that you take the following action(s)
To Immediately, and without delay contact your agents and cancel any further action from them, as well as issuing a full apology for their actions and behavior
To contact and liaise with your agents, Premier park to ensure that this can never happen again, either to myself or to anyone else who requires adjustments under the equality act
To remove/turn off/disable any ANPR equipment that can not differentiate between a standard overstay and someone who requires extra time
I look forward to your reply, and to hear how you are progressing with this matter

I have been reading your feedback and come up with the following text.
Again, your feedback is much appreciated.
_______________________________________________
Dear Mr. XXXX,
I wish to make a formal complaint about a breach of the Equality Act 2010 and CAR PARK BUSINESS at PLACE.
As registered keeper of Vehicle XXXXX, I received a parking charge notice from your agents Premier park reference number XXX on date XXXX. A Challenge to this parking charge notice was made to your agents on 31st of July 2017, with a rather informal text, on the grounds that additional time was required for a breastfeeding infant.
As this is a protected characteristic under the Equality act 2010 for which reasonable adjustments (such as extra time) must be provided, we were shocked to find that your agents had turned down the challenge/appeal and had decided to pursue the matter further.
As we understand it, you as landowner of this car park have the power to cancel the Parking Charge Notice, and remain jointly and severally liable in law, for the discriminatory actions of your agents.
We do appreciate your good judgement in understanding that after the grace periods stated in the British Parking Association Code of Practice, there should be a little adjustment for breastfeeding mothers as they have protected characteristics in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, and we believe that a little extra time for breastfeeding would appear to be the most basic of such adjustments.
We would be very grateful, if you could make it a priority to have this PCN cancelled within seven days from reception of this letter or we will be in contact with a solicitor to bring a case against you under the above described Equality Act. We will also make it priority to get in touch with my MP and the local press, as well as taking our fight to social media.
We look forward to your reply.
Yours sincerely,0 -
Much better, they should take notice of that.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
