In which case you'll need to order a copper line with your chosen provider and wait for the line to go active, once it does, the various databases will updated and you'll then be able to place an order for FTTC.0

Whys that?
I have a BT box in my house that I know works with bt and sky.
And how on earth do I go about it?
I don't want to be tied into a phone only or asdl 1mbps contract!0 -
It happens from time to time, database errors usually.
You can try contacting Openreach through their website to get the records checked and updated.
The only other way is getting a line activated and then ordering once the records update.0 -
Thank you.
raised a request with OR through their website. 28 days to resolve.

I've just checked the database on OR site and it now appears I can order fibre.
Thanks very much for your help.
Just need to prove it now

Let us know how you get on.0 -
well as a follow up!
In the end I managed to do a deal with my current provider VM.
As normal with them, it was never quite the deal they promised and after about 4 calls I got something good/reasonable. Plus they were telling me I couldn't leave. As ever it left a sour taste and a memory to try and leave them next year!
Tried about 4 times to add Line Rental Saver, but can't. (I must have screwed the costs right down)
Getting back on subject, my Parents had notification from EE for increases of £2.05 so this led me to getting quotes.
I can't believe it, but vodafone site is back to saying I can't have fibre! but my neighbor can.
EE can't sell me anything that comes down a cable.
TalkTalk can't sell me fibreWe can bring Fibre to your property, but the speeds in your area are below the minimum speed needed to supply a good fibre connection. You can still enjoy our unlimited Fast broadband package.
openreach back toYour cabinet is enabled for Superfast fibre however you're not able to order fibre just yet.
This might be because the length of the line is too long to get Superfast speeds. We're actively looking at other options.
So if I do want to move next year I will have to take this up with OR again and allow 28 days. But at least I know how/its possible..
Update June'18: Can get fibre on the address checker, uswitch, vodaphone.
Appears quick too! 60Mpbs+
Update Sept'18: I have Fibre! With NowTV0
