It is good news and it's been stashed away already, plus £14 from surveys yesterday too! Did another big food shop today, can't believe how much teenagers eat when they're at home, but I guess we aren't paying for school or college meals so that's what they'd normally have money for regularly.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Work day today so busy and tired, but a good tired. Heard from one of the job applications too and got an interview mid-May so very pleased about that, means I am pitching things at the right level. Onwards and upwards. Literally a complete NSD today too.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

A morning of sitting on the sofa doing nothing of any value so far. Going to put some music on and get tidying this afternoon. Mr D not back from work till about 10.30pm so plenty of time to get the place semi-decent by then, no rush! And unless something changes rapidly another NSD.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Taught a lesson in a school today for a potential new job, was weird actually making the effort to put decent clothes on and wear a watch for a change. Not sure how it went but interviews are next Friday so will have to wait and see. Still only spending on food and petrol, but mostly food for starving teenagers!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Still got an interview (unless they send bad news in the post). Feeling a bit glum today as another job I liked just isn't the one for me and there are so few around at the moment. Still the 6 month fund is building up so at least we will have a bit of breathing space if we need, fingers crossed we won't! Menu plan done for the week ahead so a bit more food shopping to do later today.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Taught it to 6 infant children at a social distance, was really hard though as they kept coming up to me for things and I had to tell them to sit down again, It's really made me think about what we do when we go back to school though, going to be really hard.
Sad news yesterday as two friends now have only weeks or even days left with aggressive cancers and someone at hubby's worked passed away with Covid. Puts job hunting and money saving into perspective. Today is a day of cleaning and clearing and if I get enough of that done a bit of gardening and crafting.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly
