Eurgh boy was very sick last night so this morning will be decontaminating the bathroom, bedroom and quite possibly painting a wall! Got the paint in already as we are mostly a magnolia house, but still not looking forward to it. Going to have to buy a few new bits and bobs to replace from bathroom as they aren't going to come clean any day soon, poor thing is mortified but at least he's just quiet and not still poorly. Not sure if our bedroom carpet is going to be salvageable but going to have to risk bleaching it.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Possible couple of weeks doing some part-time work coming up, got to visit someone today to chat about it. Won't pay much but will get me up and out of the house every day and bring in a small weekly wage, with the possibility of a bit more for additional hours. Very much of the opinion that any work is good work and want to show my own kids that it's important too. As it's part-time it will help get me ready for the full-time one coming up but I still haven't got a start date for that yet. Just got to ring HMRC and explain it all to them so I don't pay them too much again, their systems don't like people working in multiple jobs so I know the computer will be a bit stressed out by it as I will be doing 2 jobs and have a 3rd on the horizon!
Bathroom is also sorted and carpet survived the bleaching! Boy back at school today as he was fine all day and night yesterday so whatever it was he clearly got rid of!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Job visited, start tomorrow for a day, then full time Monday and part time Tuesday, Wednesday. Might still be able to grab a few extra hours too so all good. Phoned HMRC and sorted that out, felt sorry for the lady I was talking to because she kept sighing all the time, but we struggled through together lol. Got to get clothes and lunches organised so I can be at work early tomorrow and Monday too.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

£6.24 from cashback today and will get £60 for the work today once the timesheet is approved. Still waiting on the pay from Monday's teaching too so hopefully when they both come the tax code will mean I get the full amount plus any I paid last month too. Had a little bit of our weekly money left so bought a nice pizza for tea and a bar of choccy for us to share as well. PJ's on soon and a very lazy Friday night to snuggle up under a duvet!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Day didn't start well with hubby's car being clamped for not paying tax, had got the dates all wrong in my head, all sorted now but £100 fine we could have done without! Then litter picking in the park with the boy, at least it was sunny and we got a free hot chocolate for our efforts. Not sure what to do with my afternoon as hubby wants to have a pootling day at home, but I don't like wasting the sunshine.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Sorry about the fine
. How about taking DS out on your own and leave DH to potter? It does seem a shame to waste sunshine.
