Thank you, so soul destroying doing the same info over and over again but also found out I had a very lucky escape from one job that didn't happen last year, school inspection put it straight into Special Measures and all SLT 'left', I could have been on that SLT :eek:

Good news on the work

Aargh boiler has died overnight so just had a very cold shower! Have a local bloke who services it so he's coming out tomorrow morning. Have spent this morning making sure that he can get to the boiler in the depths of the garage and that he can also get to every radiator without having to shift a great pile of stuff. NSD today as we have plenty of food in and then off to work (love saying that!)

Boiler bloke cleaned out a few teeny parts checked out the whole system and all sorted for £20, just some muck in the system clogging it up, big relief. Now job applications to get done.

No news on the TA role but lined up interviews at two other agencies to try and get more work. More jobs coming out now so lots of applications to get done, which means a NSD as I sit at the laptop. Did splash out yesterday as Asda had a sale so 3 new tops for the boy for £1.50 and more containers so I can batch cook a few meals ready for the week ahead. Not spent much on food this week as we've been eating up lots of stuff we had in but want to keep an eye on the food spending to keep it as low as possible for the next few months.

Opticians £10 and £20 for new specs since I accidentally destroyed the last pair and my prescription has changed again. £5.50 to top up on food until I do a food shop but realised the boy is away half the week so that will cut down how much we spend!
Applied for one job yesterday and two more to do this week. Already got plans for the week ahead if I'm not working to declutter & decorate different rooms and get started on cutting everything back in the garden. Am fed up with loafing around feeling sorry for myself too much so if I can get some useful stuff done I won't feel quite as bad about not bringing any money in. The paint has all been in the garage for ages so should be good to go without extra costs and going to borrow a weed burner from the in-laws as the front drive has more grass on it than the actual lawn!
Am 87p off a £20 payout on PA but got three surveys done that just aren't agreed yet. As soon as it's in it's getting cashed out and put aside.

Busy day today and a NSD for me with hubby doing a mini food shop instead, does that count?
