Eurgh, up half the night feeling sick and with my heart pounding in my chest which was a bit scary! Completely washed out this morning so phoned agency to cancel any possible work today and went back to bed. NSD since I've just stayed indoors feeling sorry for myself. Hoping to get supply tomorrow and if not am going to look into selling off a few bits and bobs to try to boost funds a bit.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Think a day of loafing on the sofa has helped a lot tbh. Have managed to get everything ready for the morning too so if I get a call tomorrow I can just dash out all ready with lunch in my hand!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Might be a TA role coming up for a few weeks - anything to bring the cash in while I'm still looking for other roles. Am really bad at being at home all the time so if they offer it me I'll snap it up! Sat and worked out finances in detail last night and if I brought in no money at all we'd have enough to pay our bills and eat till the end of October but realistically the sooner I can bring some money in the better. Frugal is good too and have been re-reading lots of older threads to remind me of ways to keep costs down, just need to be a little more focused.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

I hope the TA thing works out, or even better a teaching job as the pay is better.
It's hard to stay positive sometimes, but positive confident people always get the best things in life. Keep telling yourself how good you are and dwell on your skills and talents, and then I'm sure you are more likely to get the job you want after that. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

woop half a day's work tomorrow - that should keep us in food for exactly erm half a day! Phoned a couple more agencies today, sent in a couple of CVs and started an application form. Nearly up to £20 on PA so I can transfer that as soon as it's got to the magic amount. Minimal spend on some reduced food in supermarket today and bleach for a particularly nasty cleaning job too. Literally having all the fun here todayMortgage £119,533 going down slowly
