What are peoples thoughts about removing the RFIDs at this time?
The cynical part of me thinks by removing the RFIDs from the system they can fudge the data and refer to it as less accurate when the stats show how abysmal the service became during this period!😳
I wouldve thought this is absolutely the time to be monitoring the journey of mail items with a fine tooth comb!!

I'm not quite as cynical but do think including RFIDs would provide a more accurate picture of where delays are due to the strikes.

However, I guess they are really interested in where delays are under normal conditions.
Agreed. RFIDs provide details of holdups during normal business allowing managemnent to improve the service. During a strike they are not much use.

  • Does anyone have an address to send the wretched RFIDs back to please, getting a message every day and have requested an envelope 5 times!!

Sent you a PM with the address.

The envelopes they send are business reply envelopes, so without one you'll need to pay postage.

Am I missing the bleeding obvious, because I can’t see a seal on the new bigger envelopes. Are we meant to be just Sellotaping them now instead?

I was assuming my Dashboard telling me to return several RFIDs is generated by a (not very intelligent) computer program, as in their email of 14 Dec they said :
    • Please retain your RFID stock as you will be using RFIDs again from 2nd January 2023.
So I’ve been ignoring their messages to send them back!!

P.S.I was presuming that I’ll be getting more RFID is from all the letters that have been held up in the post over the last couple of weeks.

For the ones I have, the larger outer envelope has one of those pull-off seals but the smaller foil-lined envelopes don't have a seal.

    Correctly delivered just popped up.

My envelopes seem to be the opposite. Pull of seals on the little ones but nothing on the big ones.

Cheers, I've got bags of stamps thanks to doing this for a while 😉

Will you be wrapping them in tin foil?
