    Hi

I’ve  just been asked to return 5 RFIDs.I’m sure I’ve read somewhere there’s a limit on the amount you can send at once, does anyone know how many it is? I’ve looked through the app but can’t find the answer!

    Thanks
As many as you can cram in, if you only have the one envelope…….

    8 is the max.
It was mentioned in a letter I received about returning RFIDs when I finished my training.

8 is in the guidlines but I did return 10 in a single envelope one occasion

I wonder if 8 is the maximum per envelope because more than 8 might turn it into small parcel rate, rather than large letter rate? (Anything over 1" deep and it becomes a parcel).

I could be wrong but I thought that when I joined (a few years ago) it used to be a maximum of 9 per envelope, then they changed it to 8. But as I say, I could be getting it all wrong. It doesn't take much.  :0)

back on the panel after a short break, in training of course!
now they say I can't participate because I don't have the app, I only have a basic phone, and my area requires me to use the app

Looks like you need to get into the 21st century then although it will get expensive. Cheap smartphone will be about £100 unless you can get someone's cast off. Sim with data will cost you about £5 a month. Not sure it is worth it just for a few stamps.

And having this thread in "Freebies (no spend required)" makes even less sense.

Eventually worth it for the stamps if one would buy them in any case but my stock just grows and grows even though I give them as simple gifts at Christmas and birthdays.

I suspect it’s more that more than 8 could risk the envelope bursting.

The postage rate won’t matter to anyone as it will be covered by RM

Totally agree with you. Not worth doing the survey if you don't use the stamps and you have to pay for the ability to take part in the survey. I don't make enough calls to justify £60 a year on SIM and data.
