Do the instructions give a time or say before last collection?
I lost a star for posting the day before to meet a 9am collection. I will in future post on the the day they say.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein0 -
It just says "After Midday".0

HJ, will you post on the stated day even if you've missed the collection for that day?
The two boxes most convenient for me now only have one collection and it's at 9am, so any afternoon posting won't get picked up on the day of posting.
There are a couple more boxes I could use but they are both a short drive away, they have 4.15pm & 5pm collection. I could use those but I wondered what other folk do.
Also, I received a test item with a spelling mistake in my address and the postal town had been left off the envelope. The house number and postcode was correct so I recorded it as correctly addressed. Did I do the right thing? Just wondering how accurate Kantar want this to be.0 -

Should I still post in the afternoon, even though it means the test item won't be picked up until Saturday? I could easily post it at 8.30am to catch the 9am collection, but then of course I'm posting it in the morning and not in the afternoon.
I've read before that it doesn't matter as long as you accurately record the time and date that you post, but wondered what others do.
TIA for any replies. x
Post it at whatever time of day is convenient for you - I have confirmed this is okay with Kantar in the past. Just make sure the posting time is correctly recorded and that you post on the correct day of the week.

HP, I used to worry about getting it in the box before the last collection but no longer bother if it says am or pm. I have only had 1 that said before last collection which I did and would always do.
I also agree that what matters is that you post on the day requested and you accurately record the time preferably verified in the app by gps.
I never had a test item with an address like yours but I would have done the same as you. Strange as I thought they all came from Kantar.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein2 -
It was a handwritten address on an incoming test item and the sender had made a couple of small errors in copying it onto the envelope. It was the first I'd had with a couple of errors but I've had two or three with the postal town missing off the handwritten address.
I think that as long as they have the correct house number and postcode, that's accurate enough, but personally when sending handwritten test items, I always copy the address in full. It just doesn't feel right not to.0 -

Just because a post box says that the last collection time is 9am - it doesn't actually mean it will be collected then - it could be much later.
They will know the time the postbox was actually collected2 -
