I asked earlier about re-enrollment, and everyone replied saying you get a 6 month term, and then 6 months off and then you join again for 6 months.

However, I have been on the live panelisst since end of January. I have 8 sets of monthly stamps, (including the set for september) and I would be on the live panel for 8 months.

To clarify, that 8 sets of 12x regular, 4x LL. Not including the commemorative set in the beginning.

    Anyone else experience this?

I know this has been discussed already but I really can't get on with the search function.
I'm about to send a load of stamps to be swapped for the bar coded ones but was unclear what the situation is with the sets we get sent at the beginning and end of our stint. Do these need to go back to be replaced with ordinary stamps instead? Thanks

    No, they don't.

You may be staying on because they are short of panelists in your area. Although if you only started end January you have only just completed 6 months so you may be off soon. I know people have actually been asked to carry on in the past when they have had no available replacement.

I take it they don't count your training month as part of the 6

    No, they don't.
So would the stamps still be able to be used individually if required?
I’m thinking about the packs I have that are unlikely to go for much on eBay.

Yes, anything that has an image of something other than the Queen's head on it (so pop stars, cartoons, etc.) doesn't need to be sent back.

I recently sent 48 of the Large Letter stamps in the booklets we are given to be exchange and within 2 weeks got back new replacement barcoded ones although these are on sheets rather than in booklets.

The packs you receive are unlikely to go for a premium on ebay. If you have a use for them just use them.

I sold my presentation packs on ebay simply because I don't need the stamps with the normal ones we get, the cash comes in handy, and I'm quite happy for a collector to make use of the additional material included vs me just chucking it.
