If it says to post after mid-day but the last guaranteed collection is before noon, you post before noon.
If it says to post after mid-day and the last collection is 4.45 pm you need to post before 4.45 pm (but can post before noon the same day if you doubt being able to post before the last collection time).0 -
That’s what I do - send in the morning instead if I know I won’t make the last collection. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

thanks
You’ll either be sent live RFID’s from Kantar before your posting date or you’ll start receiving letters with live RFID’s from other panelists you will need to record.“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”0 -

They won’t notice the odd late one, but if you’re regularly not updating till another day, that is likely to get flagged.Ditto not using the app - not obligatory at present but it does seem to be moving that way.
Interestingly got one on 17th to send before midday and one after midday. Be interesting if I post 1st one just before midday and then the other just after midday . Then rush home to log them both“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”0 -

How long is it normally before you are off the training?“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”0 -

My post box says last collection is 9am. However it’s never emptied at that time as I’ve often posted letters as late as 3pm and it still hasn’t had the metal plate on the post box changed to the next day.
If I have to post before mid-day, then I post before noon. If I have to post after mid-day then I’ll post between noon and 3pm or occasionally in the evening if I’m late back from work. I’ve never been queried doing it this way?
So as my last collection is 9am I should be posting before and after mid-day letters before 9am?“Hardware: The parts of a computer system that can be thrown out of the nearest window!”0 -

I have the app but only use wifi when Im out and about, so could be a while before I register something as sent. How quick do things need to be registered as sent. If has to be immediate, will have to drop out as not worth my while paying for internet vs what I get from sending stuff.
I think the only issue Kantar might have is that the postings aren’t verified with GPS. No harm in trying though!

Just checked the help and it says this:My local postbox has a morning collection time, but I have been asked to post an item in the afternoon. What do I do?
If possible, please try and use an alternative postbox with a later collection time. Otherwise post the item in the allocated time slot, even if it is later than the last collection time at the postbox you are using, and record online the exact time you posted the item.

If it says last collection at 9 I post before that - not an issue for me as I have to walk the dog at stupid o’clock anyway. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I pay no attention to what time of day an item is supposed to be posted. Now most post boxes have 9am collection times on weekdays, it is nigh on impossible to post items according to the schedule and still be before last collection. I did query this with Kantar and they said to post whatever time of day is convenient (even if it is after last collection time) - so long as it is the correct day (Tuesday, for example) and you record the correct time and date of posting (preferably using the app but if not as soon as you can via the website). If you can't post on that particular day then you should post on the same day the following week - again recording the correct date and time of posting. Hope that helps
