In my posting pack today I received a jiffy bag where the card-and-folded-paper insert had been force stuffed in at  such an angle at TNS that the jiffy bag began to split along the seam (if that's the word for the edge) when I removed it to add the information label.
leave the cardboard bit inside and just remove the paper, slides back in easy

    GONE ENGLAND

Had a parcel delivered today by RM.
They left it on the doorstep as this is their current policy due to CD19 & no hand held thing to sign!
Wonder when we will get some guidelines from Kantar!!

That didn't work because of the way round that it was in the jiffy.  If it had been with the open side of the cardboard facing the mouth of the envelope, that would have been possible.  But the open sides of the cardboard giving access to the paper were facing the closed sides of the jiffy.

    That is not their policy.
The policy is not to request a signature from the customer.
Doorstepping is not part of that

They should doorstep and wait as per current policy.

"Additionally, for all customers (including those who are self-isolating) where we need to deliver any parcel that won’t fit through your letterbox, we will place your item at your door. Having knocked on your door, we will then step aside to a safe distance while you retrieve your item. This will ensure your item is delivered securely rather than being left outside.

If you are unable to come to the door at all we will issue a ‘Something for You’ card, advising of other ways you can arrange to get your item. "

Also people in some parts of Manchester for the last week or so have only received Tracked 24 & Special's... wonder how this will affect survey results?

The survey will reflect what is happening in those areas, exactly as it is designed to.

From today when logging your received items you will find that we no longer ask you for postmark information or the condition the item arrived in.

Won't be much left to ask us then!

I've got yet another reminder wanting me to download the app to be able to verify my postings.  Though, in a conversation with one of their staff some time ago, I said I don't have a smart phone and therefore can't do this and the member of staff said they would make a note of this, they still send them as obviously don't have a marker for "dinosaur".  Perhaps they'll never invite me back once my current 6-month stint is completed.
