They are also stating incorrect coloured envelopes on my plan. They know about it.

From now until 11th November you may find differences between your printed posting plan and the online schedule for certain items. This is because we will no longer be using brown envelopes after this date.

The differences you will see until 11th November Items allocated as brown envelopes on your posting plan will show as white envelopes in your online schedule. This applies to both the Large Brown (C4) and Medium Brown (C5).

    What you should do

If your posting plan shows a brown envelope prepare and post it as usual. Use the Item Number to find it on the online schedule and enter the sender data as usual, even if the item is shown on the online schedule as white.

If you receive a brown envelope from another panellist, please record it as white.

I'm finding that this cycle goes up and down - Outgoing is 2 or 3 busy weeks of 4/5/6 items across 4 days then 2 weeks of 2 items. Incoming comes in bursts as well - 3 days of nothing then 2 or 3 days with 2 a day.

I'm doing Unaddressed in parallel and there's clearly a problem in that some of the "things to look for" are not appearing at all and others appear twice on consecutive days. Which suggests to me that whoever adds then to postie's bundle at the depot could be getting mixed up. I've e-mailed TNS with the info but no reply.

Spoke to TNS about this a few weeks ago

Not for the first time I had multiple copies of the same leaflets delivered. This was however the first time they arrived during an Unaddressed survey period and were the specific images shown.

On this occasion I had 3 sets of leaflets delivered over 2 days.
I double checked what I suspected from previously having spoke with my nearest 3 neighbours and observing the postie a couple of times .

The conclusion I came to (verified again only yesterday) and passed on to TNS, ......

LEAFLETS get delivered to houses that ALSO have "actual real" (addressed) mail destined for their letterboxes that very same day.
This may not apply to all rounds by all posties or even 100% of the time with mine, but with sufficient regularity leaflets (via the postie) are NOT dropping through doors solely by themselves, and always seem to arrive with accompanying addressed letters.
And I believe "surplus" leaflets do the rounds again the following day(s).

    Thanks quoia!

I can see it makes sense to bundle them with actual post rather than make postie deliver a Pizza Hut leaflet to every address on the round. But keeping going until you run out of leaflets means that someone who gets post regularly (like us panellists) gets multiple copies and someone who rarely gets post might never get one. It's even more puzzling that in the last two cycles of Unaddressed I have had some duplicates and some never appearing. Which I guess happens when the supply has run out before
I've had any real post for them to be bundled with.

I wonder... What has the advertiser has actually paid for? Are RM actually promising to deliver a leaflet to every address in a given area or that on average everybody will get one over the course of a year?
I need to think of something new here...

I usually get my leaflets on a Tuesday even if I have no other mail.

I have had 3 messages about resolving queries in the last two weeks questioning which day I have received items with smarts in. They are saying the smarts indicated I had them on a different day. The trackers cant be very accurate because I know my original inputs were correct, I have started writing them down now to be sure. One of them was questioning the time I posted an item it was on Saturday and they said it was 12.49pm I would not post it that late anyway because it would have missed the early weekend collection. It was posted at 10.20am.
