Don't ever feel guilty for doing what you need to do. I personally stayed home with mine but I have friends who went back to work both full time and part time for financial reasons or for reasons of keeping their sanity!

As Lynnejk said earlier it's 'horses for courses' and everyone is different and you are doing what you need to for your family. Sending big hugs your way xxx

Thanks for your kind words. Hope you are doing better too - I love cats and always find they make me feel a bit better :)

    #7 Kidstart

Another cashback site but aimed at kids. It is one of the only/few websites to pay 2% cashback on amazon purchases. Also from time to time ebay purchases.

Payment accrues until you reach £15 and then it can be withdrawn to your child's account.

I actually read the t and c on this account, and you don't have to have a child to join kidstart. You can join and have the money credited to your own account.

It's not a fast earner but it's nice to be paid for shopping on amazon or ebay ;)

    https://www.kidstart.co.uk/users/view/myhome.aspx?k=1

Don't forget to check referral board and leave your own referral.

It's a good site for Amazon and John Lewis as you can't seem to get cashback on these anywhere else. eBay is always there, but it is confusing as to whether it is a better deal or not as they pay a percentage of the revenue earned by eBay for a transaction. However, as eBay keep quiet on how exactly it is worked out, you never know what you will get. I have tried it, but come to the conclusion Topcashback is often better and I prefer the certainty of knowing what I actually get.

It's a good site and all works well, but it genuinely does take 3 months for your cashback to clear for a transaction, so it isn't a quick turnaround. Plus it takes a bit to get up to £10 to then cashout which only happens once a month. It took me about 4-5 months to get this going and now get more regular payouts.

Aesop - I thought Kidstart pay out on £10 rather than £15?

There was a full moon yesterday and some swear that it always causes trouble, for all those that had a bad day yesterday, myself included. OH tried my patience yesterday, put it this way I had to step away from the frying pan.

On a positive note I've received survey payouts of £15.52 and £3.

Must start listing again on ebay.

cc1 £1900/£3800 to pay by feb 25 Paid in full
    cc2 £0/£1407.00

If anyone lives near a dental school and wants good free treatmet they are taking appointments now. Best time to get in when they are just starting the new year. Only condition is you must NOT be registered with a dentist

    :rotfl::A:):T:eek::cool::D;):eek::o:p:j

Just reading back through the thread to find something and spotted this. The idea of students doing anything to my teeth gives me the heebie-jeebies:eek:. I'm the sort of person who needs to be dragged kicking and screaming to see a 'real' dentist:o. Is it the students who treat you under supervision or the dentists themselves doing demos? I'm happy with trainee hairdressers but trainee dentists........????? Forget it, even though it's free :eek:

Love the bit about the frying pan:rotfl:. There's many a time I've had to step away from all sorts of implements and utensils over the years;). Why does so much aggravation always seem to happen in the kitchen?

It's where the kettle is :rotfl: yesterday it was either me or the kettle that was steaming

Love it:T. I hope you're feeling calmer now:)

OH never enters our kitchen for any cooking/washing-up or other useful purpose, just to aggravate me:eek:. He knows that's where I'm often likely to be, doing the chores that he is oblivious to:mad:

But then again, I don't do much gardening, I leave most of that to him as at least he's out of my hair;). Swings and roundabouts I suppose. At least the jobs get done by someone or other;)

You are right. It's £10, I put £15 as by the time I chased them for payout it had reached £15 and that's what they paid me.
Yes it's slow but I like the idea of being paid to shop at Amazon with free vouchers :rotfl::rotfl:
    I can live with it.
