Talking of stamps reminds me that I've a shoebox full of old postcards, many from the early 1900s. They've all been used and sent through the post and there are some nice stamps and postmarks on them. The stamps are probably more valuable and interesting to buyers than the picture side of the postcard.
Must really get myself organised to get these sold but each one takes ages as I need to do clear scans of both sides as well as doing a fair bit of research on the value of the card itself and the stamp. Plus, I love reading the messages on the back. It's surprising how much time I can [STRIKE]waste[/STRIKE] spend on these:o
I sold a lot individually on eBay and then a boxful to a card dealer for a decent price. I kept a lot back for all sorts of reasons fully intending to research them more fully and get them sold. They are nice and easy as well as cheap to post when sold individually:j
I've also got 4 books on identifying postcards, values etc. They were very expensive to buy even though I bought them secondhand so if I ever get all my cards researched and sold I can go on and sell the books too:T. Given that I'm in need of as much money as I can get to repay my debts I don't know why I can get motivated to make more effort with these cards:o.0 -

I was going to complain if they didn't take me seriously. Was already to report them to all sorts and they said to me hold on, went away for 5 minutes, came back and explained after dealt with my call, would put me through to complaints who would deal with it.
I gave the customer details as proof i had the letter, and they did all the we will give you compensation without me opening my mouth
