    Afternoon again

    I'm a bit excited now -

Last weekend we put in application forms and CVs for camp courier jobs next year, hopeful it would proceed and be Spain.

Had a mail back Monday, asking for some more details, and said to contact them again end of September when they start the applications for next year.

Had a phone call today asking if we're free for interview in September with, potentially, a start in March if all else passes muster. They will be in touch later in the month to arrange.

Gosh - feel a bit fluttery now :D

Just a quick check in to up the posts for this month... only got 10p today from Qmee so far, but lots of things currently pending. Thought I would write a list in case it inspires anyone:
    - Panelbase surveys - waiting for £11 to come into my account
    - Valued Opinions - almost at payout and I was invited to a panel which I have been participating in for the last month which should pay out next week through the site
    - One Poll - waiting for payout of £40... they take up to a month though so may not be for a while
    - Regular saver ends tomorrow and so will get some bank interest
    - eBay... ever hopeful for more sales. I have about 25 items listed although down to the slow moving smaller items in general now
    - Small amount of cashback c. £7 that I should get next week
    - Results of some matched betting that I did earlier (races still to come this evening)

Think that's it for now! I need desperately to check if I scanned in my shopping receipts for Shopmium etc as I think I forgot..

  • Hello, Gosh I am three days late and we're already at 8 pages! I will have to finish catching up later! Well done everyone on the good starts.

I would love to be added again please. This month I am aiming to raise the £600 I need for the plumber bill... and extra as we need school shoes and a school trip needs paying for soon... So I need to challenge myself to a BIG £30 a day!!

I am starting with ebay sales...amounting to £60... (I still have some cash left in paypal but need to calculate postage so won't add it yet) Also had a cheque for an outstanding receipt from a job done at school...£12.50

I had £40 from the bank of dad too...to help with food shopping for the summer of kids snacks!

    So on 3rd august I am at £112.50 / £930 already...

I spent the day writing PPI forms out for a claims company... in 20 years we have had so many catalogues and credit cards, feel sick thinking about them all really BUT if we get some comeback that would be amazing!!! I wonder how long it takes?

I'm off to make jams and chutneys with my garden vegetables...they love the rain!

Glad it's not just me Carbootcrazy!! Unfortunately we both have hoarding tendancies which is a recipe for diaster!! But I desperately want to move so we need to sort it, and I can see his point about just binning it and starting again but that money could go towards fees and stuff so I'm no prepared to give it up yet!!

The boys are currently sitting on the floor breaking down old lego as we speak Aesop - good stuff for Ebay, and the not so commercial bits for Zapper (who are paying more than MM!!)

Fab thanks for that. Will tell my friend
  • Can't believe how much some people are making! I'm still waiting for my eBay listings to sell so I'm still on £11 for the month (unless you count the 90p I found in the washing basket!!?)

Just wanted to say thanks to Ziggy for recommending Cex. I've not had much luck with my DVD's but I'm going to send them two old phones I found in the kitchen drawer! I've also filled in a PPI form from my bank. I don't know if I ever paid much but it's worth a try! And I've signed up to a couple of shopping apps so fingers crossed I make some more pennies soon! Xx
