Just catching up at the end of my holidays! Anyway, while we were away Hubs and I had a big, erm 'discussion' about the amount of carp in our house! We are hoping to move next year and he thinks that we should cut our losses, bin everything and redecorate minimalist, so I have stupidly said that I can sell loads and make us £500 this summer hols!! Why did I not keep my big procrastinating mouth shut??

So I guess that is my target!! I can never normally manage the tenner a day!! Aesop, please kick me to both post and list stuff on ebay!!

However - I do have £5 amazon from swags and veiwerslogic to add, and 7 things listed on ebayso good start from me considering its hols!!:T

I hope you had a lovely holiday. Welcome back:beer:

Funny you should mention having a big discussion with DH about decluttering as we have that same 'discussion' every few weeks. We had one this morning just before I read your post. Things got a bit heated actually. I'm doing my best to keep moving stuff out but OH is the world's worst (or maybe best:think:) hoarder and is pathologically unable to let anything go:eek:. He's got 3 full size filing cabinets just for paperwork, such as bank statements, payslips, receipts etc for his whole lifetime. He's retired now so you'll appreciate that's a lot of paper:eek: 99% of which could be shredded. This is his own personal paperwork, I tend to keep very little of mine and only if absolutely essential and for the shortest time necessary.

As for physical clutter, he has 3 large sheds, an old decrepit caravan and a massive garage filled to the rafters with 'junk', as well as all that's in the loft and spare room. My attempts at getting to the minimalist stage without any support from OH are about as effective as emptying a lake with a teaspoon:eek:. I hope you are more successful than us:beer:

I still remember that night you listed loads, and loads sold on Ebay, you were up most of the night wrapping for posting.

That was a good eBay day :)

I remember that too:rotfl:. What a nightmare as they were really difficult sizes/shapes to pack and some were very fragile and I was worried sick about packing them securely. Had the house in chaos trying to dig out suitable packing materials. Put me off eBaying for a good few months I can tell you.

I'll definitely join the challenge and will list tomorrow if I can. Only cheap items so I definitely won't be the winner but it will give me a bit of incentive to actually get them listed. Pity they are so small, I won't free up much extra space:(.

Phew just managed to catch up on all your lovely posts. I failed to reach my target last month so must try harder in August.
Had £10 in amazon vouchers from Swaggers(my best earner).
I will also try and post more this month. Next week should be good as my Grandchildren are going away for a week so I won't be childminding.
Keep up the good work everyone

I'm also doing the thing where I'm recognising more when I'm not spending money - my friend bought me a scone and a cappuccino the other day - I was beside myself with contentment at this -- I think I need to get out more xx

I know what you mean Mrs Cautious. My mum paid for my haircut yesterday and I was thrilled as it was unexpected.

don't worry, it will even itself out. Have you looked at the 3rd post and maybe signed up to something new?

I signed up to a couple of bits from it but no joy so far - hopefully start getting something soon :) Going to sign up to Swagbucks after seeing the post about it. I have a rare day off today so some/most of the day will be spent doing things like that, to try and get things moving.
