Hi everyone, I'd like to join in please. I'm aiming for £2 a day. Already made £10 today through selling something on FB so am off to a good start.0

Applied for the M&S credit card that was in Martin's email, so potentially got a £50 voucher coming my way.
Been listening to a podcast called The Money Coven by a former MSE member of staff which is really good. I am going to have a go at Ebay tomorrow. I am selling all my old, trashed shoes as there seems to be a market for that???Debt Free Stage 1 - Completed 27/08/2020

Wow - that's brilliant! :T So jealous of your total already!
Aw thank you -- don't be it will soon all slow downxx
I am going to put some stuff on eBay tomorrow night if I'm not too tired - going to try decent quality clothes on 10 day auctions.
I'm going to do another car boot sale on Sunday and have bought a clothes rack to help me do that.
Some stuff that I have to sell has come from my parents or my mother in law - they are grateful for me helping them declutter and I am seeing pound signs x0 -

Warn you now, make your choice of words very carefully, ebay will pull your listing if they think you are trying to sell to a different market. Be prepared for odd requests by message. My advice, stay on the straight and narrow when replying. EBay read messages.
What member of staff is it please?
Good luck. -0 -
Am totally amazed, day two and people are smashing their daily targets

Thanks Aesop, I'll admit I have my reservations about it but want to clear my debts asap.

Evening all
Well done all those getting off to a flying start :T :T
Don't be disheartened if you've not made anything yet. Remember that many on here have been doing this for a l-o-n-g time, and have built up various strategies. We all had to start somewhere, and it does slowly build up over the months. Have a look at some of Aesop's brilliant ideas and try the ones you feel happiest with initially.
I think it's also a good idea to look at any outgoings and see if you can get better deals anywhere. If you are going to buy anything use a cashback site and/or look for discounts , get any retailer cards you can and use them - most build up points that you can use for discount a bit later on.
Best of all come on here and brag about what you've saved/made and pick up other ideas
Made a lucky killing on the amazing site today. I had been waiting to get my monies from my yearly savings to treat myself from the interest. So today I ordered a few things and, after searching round the site for about an hour, finished up with discounts of £72.41 - I could hardly believe it :j :j Received £4.74 interest from bank as well so good start for me for once.
Hope you all have a great Thursday
