Dipped in catnip and rolled in dreamies....
Cat heaven. For about, oh, 30 minutes? On a good day.
MrT delivered food, and yet again refunded the bread squished by the hard stuff. No packing sense whatsoever. No eggs either. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

The drivers who deliver my Mr M shop always moan about the packers. You get a bag with one thing in it light as a feather then another bag crammed full of heavy items, usually with a loaf of bread at the bottom!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Also, worth a look in the co-op for Christmas baking reductions. Mixed peel was 25p (sadly all gone) and marzipan was about £1. I accidentally bought several packs for eating by the slice in suitably greedy pig fashion. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

You don't get bags on MrT any more - all just shoved in trays. So a tray with hardly anything in then the next with the bread squashed by bottled water. The drivers also moan about the packers. I have only done C&C with Mr M delivery, although I currently have a 15/off 60 and a £4 basket bonus so I might be tempted. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Our online deliveries are the same…and they often sneak in short dates and don’t mention them. You have to be very observant when unpacking.

Might try to factor in time for a swing into the co-op I can pass on my way back to the car from work then - good tip, thank you! The 25p mixed peel is a standard post-christmas reduction for them - we've benefitted from this before. (See also - the large tubs of St0rk at around £1...)
The packing issues is one of the many reasons that I far prefer to do my shopping myself rather than getting it delivered!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

i mostly hate shopping, live 5 miles from stupid market, and work from home so generally delivery is simplest.
busy being tempted by 'knit your own over sized merino cardigan kit for beginners'. Need something for my 'not so nifty' big birthday next month, but my track record with crafts and projects is very poor. I think I bought the latch hook rug kit with my 19th anniversary of 21 money and haven't finished it yet. I can do basic knitting but am rubbish at sitting down outside of work.

I have soooo many kits and projects stashed here, there and everywhere ….. 😉
I am attempting to turn the spare room into a crafting / creative space as I do feel mentally better when I do crafts and artwork (the latter is very low level, but I enjoy the process 😊). I hope actually having a dedicated space for it, away from the TV (which drives me demented at times - sometimes I just need QUIEEEEEEET!!! 😂😂) will make me more likely to do it.KKAs at 15.07.25:

I'm rubbish at anything crafty - lack of ability multiplied by lack of time. Mr Redo on the other hand picks up a new hobby and is instantly competent. V envious of this ability. The latch hook rug kit is a 6 foot by 2 foot thing, and was a triumph of hope over experience. Ten years on I have done maybe half of it. Probably should dig it out again but I'm not very good at sitting down.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
