Was going to suggest lemon posset. Lemon, sugar and cream. No gluten. Like a lemon tart but without the tart5

All these puds sound fabulous.
I was tempted to put lemon zest in pilaff but I couldn't pluck up the courage.4 -
thanks @peb, I googled and that really does appeal to me. Bookmarked for the weekend as I have the less squishy lemons stillpeb said:Was going to suggest lemon posset. Lemon, sugar and cream. No gluten. Like a lemon tart but without the tart

Work is still really busy, and good commercial news for the company this week means more work for me. Keeps my job safe (and that of others) at least and I can honestly say I am never bored and I actually like and respect the people I work with which is rare and wonderful.
I don't remember spending any discretionary money today (although I was tempted by a face cream offer in the wee insomnia hours - and am finally running out several years on from deciding I was buying too much stuff)
Counting the days down to the new years mortgage overpayment allowance. I must get a life. We could clear it but the early repayment dings outweigh the savings. This time next year, we will be millionaires it will be gone hopefully. Fixed rate £140 a month in interest charged, £60ish interest earned plus the chance of PB winnings against c2k of early repayment charges. Must check the break even point but I don't think it is tapered. It was the right decision based on info available at the time.
Foodwise I am work busy so freezer food, although tonight was cottage pie with packet mash, and they had seconds.
The boy who doesn't eat rediscovered tuna and I bought 20 tins on a MrT offer for £5 off a £15 which made the good brand cheaper than the value stuff.

It is but only because of his pension lump sums really. I have to admit to crying with happiness when the retire early amount lump sum and pension letters arrived and the dream became real. Mostly luck and 1990s accrued defined benefit pensions, not judgement and personal sacrifice.moving_forward said:Wow good news on the mortgage. It must be nice to know it's on the way out 🙂
