IIRC you are into REN @astrocytic_kitten? They do turn up every so often (feel unique (under samples/beautykit) at the moment has some REN bits for example), but I do better watching the M&S sale for the half price REN gift sets. Love the ren rose bath stuff and one minute miracle, but the moisturiser isn't quite enough now that I am a little bit more past 21. well, 'knocking 50' to quote someone at work today!
Most of the boxes have too much make up/nail varnish/face cleaner for me but I do like to try new moisturiser in the hope that I will find one that I like for my current skin.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Good memory redo, and good tip on the M&S sale! Yes I love REN, though I’m currently using Cerave moisturiser which does the job decently. I used to stay at a hotel for work that would give REN minis as gifts. Those were the days... I was gutted when it came off my firm’s preferred list and I couldn’t stay there any more.

Also a REN fan. I had the rose otto travel set (half price in M&S sale)
I usually save for travel but used with some Epsom salts in my temporary home. Bliss...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Excellent re-purposing of the table and glass 🙂.
I'm too lazy for make up (apart from mascara and powder), but a good moisturiser is worth it, especially as we get older 🤔.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

The house works continue at pace, and all of the dining table has been repurposed. We both have a week off coming up and hope to get a lot more done.
@astrocytic_kitten I only remember the REN because I like it too and my memory is spoken/written and not remotely visual, not a scary stalker. Giggled afterwards that I must have sounded like one.
A couple of years ago @greenbee and I went on a REN rose spa day, it was lovely but the lunch was very poor. I want all of the things to be outstanding on my rare escapes from responsibility. Who knows when we will next get to go though. I have my little pot of funding ready at least.
Eldest child is 18 shortly, will be the strangest birthday I think. I currently have a self inflating balloon on a stick and a couple of cards. Must put some effort in to make it not flat.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

@HairyHandofDartmoor I am mostly a straight moisturiser person. Mascara and glasses is tricky.
@doingitanyway I love all of the rose otto stuff, have one bottle left of the bath oil but no bath currently (water tank problem)!

The REN rose spa treatment was fabulous. Such a pity about the lunch. At least by the time we manage the next one we'll have lots saved...5

It'll be the full works with cooked breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. I will need to be rolled home in a cocoon of rose oil.My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

No worries redo, I didn’t think you were stalking me - was quite touched you’d remembered! It’s funny you mentioned that, I sometimes remember really random things about people and can be good at tying them up and making connections... and then don’t tell anyone because I worry it makes me look like a stalker. You’d think this would translate to being great at gift buying but sadly not 🤦♀️I need to investigate this REN spa though. The best spa where I live uses ESPA products which I also love, I always felt like I had shampoo advert hair after a day there... actually this has given me the impetus to plan a day there with a friend in a few months (or a year). Back in my very spendy days I had a membership there and if I was having a horrible day at work I’d slip away and spend lunchtime in the spa.Debt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167
