redofromstart said:I split mine every year, even tiny clumps of 3 thrive and grow. I've never bought any, mine are (allegedly highly collectible) ones from my Dad. He gave me a tray full in year one, and every year I have taken the outside 20% and replanted or rehomed. That original single tray has multiplied by at least 100 in the twelve years. Skim off a few, make it happen. Ideally do it after they have flowered.
They are in flower now so when they stop I shall attempt to split a little. Currently a little jealous of your highly collectable ones!
I do like me plants. I have treated myself to some cyclamen and living stone seeds from Chil tern seeds to try. I managed to grow some cyclamen from seed at the old house but we moved right after Christmas so I didn't manage to take them with me. The living stone ones are a new try for me. I cant wait to see if I manage to grow any!Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I tend not to eat at all when I'm stressed, I choke and I can't eat. Remember this when your reluctant eater child says No and don't force the issue. I'm really lucky that my fussy eater likes milk and good bread. I hated everything. I've never, ever forgotten the 'eat or you will have it for breakfast', 'be sick in it and you will still have it for breakfast', or 'starving child in Africa who would be grateful' conversations and they do not help at all.

like the sound of the living stones. My Dad also gave me many cyclamen, but they moved last year and I need to give him several trays back this year. Hellebore too, the only thing that doesn't self propagate is the double hellebore but I plan to buy him some as a thank you for all the things he has given me to killMy mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

If you are buying Hellebore you must look at Ashwoods Nursery near Kingswinford. They are specialities of there's. The nursery has won many awards and is really lovely to visit if you ever get chance. Its a hop skip and a jump from us so we go frequently.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

Oh that looks like my kind of place, thanks - I head that way for work too. That said I am frankly shocked at the price of the Daphne's. My Jaqueline Postill was a cutting from my Dad and I was clearly not grateful enough. I put 4 cuttings in the raised sand bed in September so everything crossed that they take. They are trying to flower but that doesn't mean roots.
