Delurking to say I’ve also been buying the Pratchett and Sayer books on kindle as they go on sale, and this month is really stressing my 2020 resolution to not buy any kindle books!!
As someone who has also suffered from mystery stomach issues, you have all my sympathy. After mine had been going for a while it also seemed to end up as a sort of lightening rod for any stress going on in my life, which was really not helpful. I hope you find some relief soon.Debt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167

Sorry to read about your flare up redo and do hope you get to the bottom of what causes them.
Your flowers sound lovely - just the things to cheer up February.
Enjoy your books. If you're buying kindles then at least the hardbacks can linger a while.......:)Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Your stomach problems sound horrendous, I hope you can get to the bottom of the cause. Like you say it would be easier to understand it if you knew what upsets it. Must be so frustrating for you.
It's lovely to see all the early flowers coming up, my daffodils are just about to flower. Already noticed a robin viewing one of my bird boxes and scaring off the wood pigeons. Signs of SpringI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
The stomach issues really are a massive problem aren't they - what has your GP said about a referral to a dietician as that seems like the logical next step, particularly if it might take restrictive diet plans to sort out what is going on. Things like FODMAP should be done under supervision anyway, I believe.
I saw my first snowdrop yesterday (yes, bizarrely just the one!) and our daffodils are all in bud - not sure whether they're being brave or foolish though as I have a feeling we have "weather" yet to come!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Just popped in after you posted on my diary. i haven't seen the start of your tummy issues but I have IBS and it can be random and a right pain in the bum. Im fine with glutten and tested negative for Coliac but have problems with too much dairy and sometimes theres no good reason for it. Ask docs to investigate and keep on at them. Mine ran in family so i had a heads up what was happening. Stress is a big triggerDedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

We have a sparse sprinkling of snowdrops left by the previous home owner. Way too sparse to even contemplate splitting. I have always heard it is better to buy them "in the green" as opposed to buying bulbs?? Do any of you lovely snowdrop owning people have any thoughts on it as I would like to encourage as many as possible while keeping my spends to a minimum.Dedicated Debt Free Wanabee 🤓

I split mine every year, even tiny clumps of 3 thrive and grow. I've never bought any, mine are (allegedly highly collectible) ones from my Dad. He gave me a tray full in year one, and every year I have taken the outside 20% and replanted or rehomed. That original single tray has multiplied by at least 100 in the twelve years. Skim off a few, make it happen. Ideally do it after they have flowered. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Just admiring your cat picture
My SIL suffers with IBS and she's on a low dose anti-depressant which helps somewhat.
